Geez people. I know they don't know what to do but I'd be concerned about a lot sooner than 20 years. Didnt even think about it last night but it occurred to me today our campground is about 50 miles directly east and parallel to East Palestine. My wife and I bought a lot and a trailer there in August. I'm sure it'll be fine. I don't mean to sound selfish. There are many more people with more to be worried about.

Maybe she should go try to report on it at location. Maybe she can get arrested for real this time. Little crisis actor.

Hopefully just a coincidence. I find it reassuring that as of yet I haven’t seen other reports of small animals suddenly dying within that 10 mile stretch of Ohio,

I think it's best to ALWAYS listen to the government authority when deciding what is harmful and what is safe.

Yes, surely just a coincidence of course. Which begs the question. Why are people even looking down?  Everybody should be looking up.  There's probably a balloon over your head while you're trying to be some nosey busy body looking at things you have no right to be looking at in the first place. Are you a qualified expert in looking down? No.  Besides CNN will tell you if there was anything to be concerned about. Hey look! Up there!

The other comparison is covid. The same people who shut down your business, made you wear a mask and pushed experimental vaccine mandates in the name of protecting your health now have not much to say about the worst chemical spill in US history, Has anyone even been evacuated?

Don’t tell me it’s safe. Something is going on if the fish are floating in the creek," Cathey Reese, who lives in Negley, Ohio, told NBC affiliate WPXI of Pittsburgh last week. Reese said she saw dead fish in a stream that flows through her backyard.

Jenna Giannios, 39, a wedding photographer in nearby Boardman, said she has had a persistent cough for the past week and a half. She has been drinking bottled water, and she is uncomfortable bathing in water from the bathroom spigot, she said.

"They only evacuated only 1 mile from that space, and that’s just insane to me," she said, coughing throughout the conversation. "I’m concerned with the long-term heath impact. It’s just a mess."

Why would anybody need to be evacuated?  The only people who should be concerned are those who aren't fully vaccinated and boosted.

They evacuated around 1000 people in a 1 mile radius before the did the burn and told them to come back only 2 days later. Imo, both the vicinity and the length of time fell way way short.

About 4.5 million tons of toxic chemicals are transported through U.S. communities every year by rail, and 12,000 trains carrying hazardous materials cross through towns and cities each day, The Guardian reported.

“The Palestine wreck is the tip of the iceberg and a red flag,” Ron Kaminkow, a former Norfolk Southern freight engineer and secretary for the Railroad Workers United, told The Guardian. “If something is not done, then it’s going to get worse, and the next derailment could be cataclysmic.”

WTF? I imagined this wreck being pretty catastrophic. Apparently, there is a different worse case scenario.

I'd imagine the solution will be put forward by the experts to rid America of all the rail lines. Cause, there can never be a toxic rail line accident if there are no more rail lines anymore.  And they also probably produce tons of CO2.  That's something Greta can get on board with.  So it's a win win!

Greta already told you it is stupid to let the greed of mega-corporations kill you off.  Does she have to remind you its a bad idea to  turn a town into flaming poisonous hell to get a railroad back in operation a few days sooner?  But why be mad at Greta?   Green energy is more her deal, she leaves train wrecks to the DOT and EPA, where are they?  Can you trust them when they say it is safe?

Where is Pete Buttigieg?  Pete ain't there.  Honestly it doesn't matter either way, for Republicans and Democrats  the first priority is to take care of big business and the economy.  They will figure out how much of a hit to the GDP  would take if the railroad was shut down for another week.  Only then will dying animals and people come to mind.

What does Greta have to do with avoidable train wrecks caused by corporate greed and government corruption?

Do you need to bring her up in conversation because  you are still mad that she called you out for selling your soul to globalists  and letting FOX news suck out your brain?  Did Tucker tell you you would be a real man if you did?

She truly hurt their egos when she insulted incel king Andrew Tate. It's just the typical hivemind, that's all. Sometimes people genuinely seem to want to be clueless idiots. You're talking about people that respond in tweets that aren't even theirs, not exactly intellectual giants.
