That’s some scary ****, sounds like Wind Shear. I was in a U.S. Army Blackhawk Helicopter that lost its engine at 4000 feet and autorotated to land scared the **** out of me, but we had great pilots and when we it the ground it’s was approximately like a 15 mile an hour collision, it shook us up, but there were no injuries and the aircraft wasn’t damaged badly at all. This occurred at the United States National Training Center (NTC)
