A meteor from another solar system landed on Earth back in 2014, but obtaining more information about it has proven challenging.

Maybe it was an artificial object , no one will argue over a space rock. Must be something really special

You are kidding aren't you? Scientists will argue over pretty much anything, until evidence confirms one hypothesis over all the others. That's the way science works, to be valid a hypothesis must be able to withstand scrutiny. Scientists will suggest reasons why a hypothesis is wrong, if the hypothesis can not be defended against this scrutiny then it can not be accepted as fact.

That's rather the point of the article. If this meteorite is of interstellar origin it would make it unique.

Are there any pics of this object? Lastly I know of they were scrambling to retrieve it from the ocean...
