Eldorado Posted March 19 #1 Share Posted March 19 We are recommended to do nearly two and a half hours (150 minutes) of moderate-intensity exercise each week. About a quarter of the UK population do not even manage half an hour. So is there something easier we can aim for? What is the least amount of exercise that will start to improve our health? Someone who is keen to make exercise advice less intimidating is Dr Zoe Saynor, assistant professor of clinical exercise physiology at Portsmouth University, not to mention a retired elite-level rugby player. Occupational Hubris Posted March 19 #2 Share Posted March 19 I lift 6 day s aweek. 3 day a week i lift heavy. 1 hour or so a day. I absloutley love it. Nothing better than that endorphin rush. Guyver Posted March 20 #5 Share Posted March 20 Still, it’s more than I’m doing today…so I shouldn’t talk. Before I got old, I used to do that 150 minutes almost in one day. Now, not so much.
