trevor borocz johnson Posted March 20 #1 Share Posted March 20 I think I solved this one. Energy released in a gravity field will seek out a path of least resistance to a colder medium. The earth's static gravity field of heat would be resistant in all directions but up. The gravity field would be denser below and equally as dense on the sides, but it would be cooler and less dense straight up so that's why the flame goes up where in space the resistance of the aether is equal on all sides. Waspie_Dwarf Posted March 20 #2 Share Posted March 20 (IP: Staff) · Firstly it's not unexplained, it's a well understood phenomenon caused by the lack of convection in the air in a zero g environment. For anyone interested in an explanation, without pseudo-scientific waffle, you can find it here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z4sgsk7 3 Top

Convection currents go up and down in a medium. I don't see the flame of the candle going down at all. 1 Top

No I'm taking a swing at total nonsense by using evidence based science. There is no logic, common man's or otherwise , in the word soup you have generated. As for "fancy college lessons", the site I linked to is an exam revision site for 15 and 16 year old school children, which rather puts your level of scientific understanding into perspective. Edited March 21 by Waspie_Dwarf typo corrected 'on' to 'no'. 2 1 Top

The majority of your threads are nonsensical, which does result in most people disagreeing with you. It’s definitely not blind disagreement in most cases, you just seem to have very limited comprehension of what you’re posting about. Simple to understand... for most people. 1 1 Top

I think Charles Darwin summed this up rather well: Quote Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science. 1 Top

Wow! So its convection currents which occur when a cold liquid enters a hot liquid, the cold liquid bounces up and down. Is this wrong to you and what you think and force me to believe is righty o like a happy friendy le diddly doo?

Water conducts heat quite fast but if you pour cold water into hot water it immediately heads downwards. It warms up quick though.

If you are hoping to find an alternative theory of gravity you need to start with the basics and get your high school qualifications in physics. Its obvious you dont even have that. Then build it up over a decade to a physics degree.

Surely you don't think I'm a blank page of knowledge. But its been almost 6 years since I posted about the femto camera. The whole science internet community is yet to argue anything but anti-aether nonsense. But anyways back to reality, I kind of don't like these people that like will due said, troll around preaching there crap. Ugh you people and your eye candy humor stink are enough to make me sick. Come on, you`re not studying science at college. If you have an interest in it thats good but you need to learn about it, starting with the basics. I guess anyone doesn't really like this forum, board index is sort of humorous, then that becomes like a dark gateway to how evil and mean you IDIOTS get. I don't have any further response in this convo wit you cooks because your just a person and I don't want to argue our IQ's like you do. OK?
