Silence

Recommended Posts

Everything that has a beginning, must also have an end.

And this Spiritual Path is no different.

I have always tried to share any insights that have been gleaned, (given) along the way..

And so I will clumsily try to explain the "end game".

Silence..:D

Nothing more to say, think, believe, hope for, expect, or desire.

Just, the present moment, to enjoy.

Thoughts?

Sounds kinda boring since I enjoy saying, thinking, believing, hoping, expecting, and desiring.  Whatever works for you though.

Having a connect, to THAT, is anything but boring..

But like you say, each to their own.

I think silence coming from a preacher is golden.

Its a good question.

I guess it depends upon ones perspective?

I mean, the thing that might make it bad, is ones "skin" in the game, so to speak.

So if one is already surrendered to the will of GOD, then, literally, all's good.

One is simply in the moment, every occurrence is a message from GOD, a challenge, an opportunity, a moment in time where one may awaken.

In other words, for one who knows love, there is no bad, "present moment".

Long before our universe ends the human species will no longer exist. That is REAL silence.

Well that's one perspective.

Personally, speaking as an illusory, non-being, I would say, that, all comes from mind, from consciousness, and therefore, the physical body will "go" before the mental, and spiritual bodies/planes are reunited, with, THAT.

Silence doesn't mean inaction.

It means being open to life, and expressing ones emotions, and feelings.

Which, as was just explained to my Essex friend, is always a joyous occasion.

From whence, all things arose, so must all things, return.

Doesn't matter how much baby screams their disapproval.

Nothing, can stop IT.

The good news being..

That GOD is pure love.

That GOD is absolute mercy.

And, that in actual fact, you are THAT, anyway.

So where's the actual problem, here?

An excerpt from MacBeth Act 5, Scene 5 says it best IMO:

Quote

Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

And then is heard no more. It is a tale

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing.

The only real meaning to life is the meaning we, individually, give it sans all the pseudo-religious and pseudo-psychological claptrap quite often dispersed here at UM and elsewhere and often by those who couldn’t find a way out of a wet paper bag with even as little as a flashlight and a pocketknife.

You have kind of just contradicted, yourself.

You say, the only real meaning to life, is the meaning we give it..

To which I agree with, (to a point..)

Anyway, you then go on to belittle folk who, (in your words) say, without the pseudo-religious and pseudo-psychological claptrap..

So what you've just said is, that, everybody can have a voice, so long as its the same as mine, and that everything else is "claptrap".

Don't you see the sheer hypocrisy in your present, point of view?

Nope, what it means is that idiots who co-opt bits and pieces of Christianity to effectively reinterpret it into something it’s not as well as attempt to make themselves sound somehow psychologically relevant to any discussion while actually proving how clueless they are can be dismissed for the fool they are.

CH you are triggered again, looking to ruminate and vent, not really discuss anything,

But, who are you to tell other folks what is right, (for them) and what is wrong?

I have constantly said, that each man may hold fast to their beliefs, but, that to be a man, one must also take responsibility for their actions.
