Her eight-year-old son told how he went to a local school for five hours a day but had been unable to make friends. L.A.T.1961 Posted March 25 #3 Share Posted March 25 It makes you wonder what the migrant gangs told these folks before taking all their money off them. They must have thought the gangs were officials from the UK government and are now shocked when not living next to Gary Lineker. 2 1 Top

How can they apply to become a citizen? Imagine a Syrian refugee, for example, wanted to apply for asylum in the UK. How would he/she go about it? Take your time, several government ministers including Suella Braverman have been unable to answer this question).

First safe country they come to, they get directed to the British Consulate (or is it a commission?) where they say, to officials there trained in their language “I want to seek refuge in Britain” and afterwards, they are lead through the process. It takes time, because … governments are involved and therefore everything takes time. 1 Top

Why are they complaining about the housing when it's probably the best they can do? They could be in a Texas style "dog pen" and have a real b****. 1 Top

Quote I am currently outside the UK but wish to seek asylum in the UK. Can UNHCR assist me? No. To apply for asylum in the UK, you must be physically in the UK. Applications for asylum are submitted to the UK Government and not to UNHCR. More information can be found on this UK’s Government Services webpage. https://help.unhcr.org/uk/asylum/#:~:text=UNHCR assist me%3F-,No.,this UK's Government Services webpage. 1 Top
