Perhaps some sort of colored Tshirt day could be organized.  Kind of like the knitted pink vagina hats from the Me too movement.  You know, send a clear Progressive message: We won't Tolerate the Intolerable!!!

Let's look at what he said:

That would be the Charlottesville rally: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/charlottesville-rally-turns-deadly-one-killed-after-car-strikes-crowd-n792116

It was the "unite the right" rally https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unite_the_Right_rally

You're conveniently ignoring the part where Biden lied about "very fine people". A lie he is still repeating in 2023, despite having 6 years worth of fact checkers show him how he is lying. A lie that many left wingers on UM still present as fact as a direct result of this continued lie!

Jesse Jackson talking about how racist Trump is....  my that didn't age well.  How things change when you leave Democrats.  Summary for the NPCs who won't watch the video.  This is Trump at Rainbow Push Coalition in 1999 (you know, Jesse Jackson).  He helped bankroll it and gave Jesse Jackson free office space.

All that White Supremacy!

I’m going to agree with Joe, White supremacy is the biggest terrorist threat. It’s like planting a thousand tomato seeds and then declaring that tomatoes are the greatest produce possibility. The political left has be sowing division for far to long to expect anything less than producing extremist groups.

Biden didn't sew anything, Obama being elected and having a black president for two terms angered a subsection of white people who hated him existing. It went beyond policy disagreements. Feel free to look up the Jim Crow museum and see the racist and white supremacy pieces that spread during that time. The birther movement was by definition white supremacist.

It always amazes me how much overlap there is with the same people who say racist things believing they aren't while saying racism no longer exists. Many use having a black president as proof of that, all while racism got worse because we had a black president. And the white supremacist backlash that happened what? didn't actually happen? You saw no evidence? I did everywhere especially certain relatives seemed to have an unending supply of racist memes they shared and their friends. So don't bother with the gaslighting. We saw it, we still see it.

You mean the birther movement started by Hillary Clinton's campaign?

I say this as a 50 year black man who was born and raised in the south.  Also an HBCU graduate.

This is nothing but Biden attempt to try to salvage the black vote.  Just another meaningless "keep ya'll in chains" speech to appeal to the racism fears of the politically ignorant black community.

It's getting tiring and old. Losing it's zap among voters in the middle politically and there's a lot of them.

Be careful with your language.  Remember, Van Jones said it was a "white-lash".  The tool...

It started with Obama once he was in the race. I saw Donald saying the same.

Van Jones will say anything for air time. But if that's some kind of rebuttal from you maybe try again.

Even before the campaign was over, racial rage, clearly driven by fear of a black man in the White House, began to break out around the country. Effigies of Obama appeared hanging from nooses on university campuses. Angry supporters of John McCain and Sarah Palin shouted "Kill him!" at a campaign rally and even screamed "n-----" at a black cameraman, telling him, "Sit down, boy!" The head of the Hillsborough County, Fla., Republican Party sent an E-mail warning members of "the threat" of "carloads of black Obama supporters coming from the inner city to cast their votes." A reporter who has covered every presidential election since 1980 told me he had never seen such fury. Similar scenes were reported nationwide.

Naturally, the rage also engulfed the radical right. Thom Robb, an Arkansas Klan leader, described for a reporter the "race war" he sees developing "between our people, who I see as the rightful owners and leaders of this great country, and their people, the blacks." In Tennessee, two neo-Nazi skinheads went further, allegedly planning to murder black schoolchildren, shoot and behead other African Americans, and assassinate Obama. They were arrested two weeks before the election.

LINK: WATCH: President Biden Tells Black Graduates ‘White Supremacy’ Biggest Threat

Incredibly harmful thing for the sitting POTUS (or anyone) to say. Biden is literally telling the African American graduates to 'watch out for whitie'. Very divisive.

Mayorkas makes the same wrong claim.

Mayorkas: White Supremacy the Greatest Terrorism Threat to U.S.

Cyber terrorism, illegal immigration, automatic weapons, and drugs are our greatest threats, Oh, and 'creeping communism'.

I asked this in another thread, but I'll ask you too.

How is what he said divisive?

I'm genuinely curious.

The Democrats are much like a magician using slight of hand to trick you into focusing on the right hand whilst hiding the card with the left hand.  The right hand is screaming racism at every turn to keep black folks from focusing on the left hand which is failed progressive policies and their effect on the black community.  Unfortunately, for many black folks, fears of racism clouds logical and clear thinking.  Nearly every progressive policy hurts the black community and Democrats continually take advantage of the black vote whilst never delivering a damn thing to improve the community.

Trump managed to peel off quite few black votes (particularly black males) and it has Democrats scared.

I'm a Redbones Angola, Delaware Joseph and a Gouldtown Pierce and I'm actually sick of these White Democrat closet aristocrat socialist ****heads catering to the crybabies and deciding what's good for us.

Morgan Freeman said it perfectly "You want to end racism stop talking about it", because all they are doing is creating more division by shoving they're agenda down the Crackers throat.

Oh the strange place we've come to where Democrats pointing out Republicans white supremacy is the bigger sin to some people. Here is a clue, pointing out white supremacy is what we are supposed to do. It's literally killing people. The Democrats are noticing the killings and some of you all want to kill the messenger. When has keeping quiet about violence and hatred ever made hatred go away? Did that work for black people? Or did they come to a place of protest and visibility where the world got to see how awful it was by the 60s in the South? Should they have just kept it to themselves and just hoped white people would stop lynching them? What is wrong with some of you?
