Biscardi? That crank and con artist? Does anyone remember the "Georgia Gorilla" hoax he was involved in? I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

Secondly, Orang Pendek is purportedly much smaller than reported sightings of Bigfoot and has been nicknamed Littlefoot, something that Biscardi, or anybody with an interest in cryptozoology, should know. Why he's calling it Bigfoot is a total mystery.

"Only a team like mine, with more than 50 years' experience hunting Bigfoot around the world, could take on such a trek."

50years and nothing found... maybe it's time to comprehend that your team is s*** or there's no bigfoot...

Biscardi is a con artist and nothing he says should be taken seriously, and I don’t even know why he makes the news anymore.  You’re right about Orang Pendek, and he’s probably using the name bigfoot to gather attention.

More than 50 years experience of not finding Bigfoot. Hmm, wonder why?

You sound like a denier.

Imagine having 50 years of experience in looking for something that you never find.

@DieChecker once proposed that the Siamang could be the pendek. It's a compelling theory.

The Orang Pendek stories originate in Sumatra but sure, why not go looking in Thailand instead. Makes perfect sense.

Makes perfect sense if you never intended to find anything in the first place.

Quote

The first recorded reports of Bigfoot in Thailand date back to the 16th century, when residents in the remote jungles spoke of “live hairy men as tall as 3 meters.” Since the 1920s, thousand of sightings have been logged and a dozen scientific expeditions have been carried out since the mid-1970s. In 2005 a group of journalists traveled to many parts of Taiwan and southeast Asia to search for “10 foot tall giant man apes.” All of this activity produced no tangible evidence.

Humm... I don't know that in 15+ years here on UM that I've ever heard of 10 foot ape men in southeast Asia.

Anyone know about 3 meter apes in Thailand in the 16th century?

Gigantopithicus was around 3 meters tall... if it stood upright. But I've never read of anyone thinking they specifically are still around.

Anyone know anything about a 2005 expedition to look for bigfoot in Taiwan? Never heard of test either.

A couple Google searches down and I think this may ALL be just BS from Biscardi. Completely made up historic reports that don't exist.

Exactly.

They stand about 4 foot tall but are very strong (according to witnesses?) How they consider Orang Pendek part of the Bigfoot family is a bit humorous.

This animal could be real and very similar to a gorilla
