Ukraine Situation Report: Russia Making Push In East

''There are indications that Russian forces have launched offensive operations of their own around in eastern Luhansk Oblast. While it is unclear at the moment how successful this is or how far the Russians might be advancing, it would appear to be another challenge facing Kyiv's counteroffensive.

The influential Russian Archangel of the Special Forces Telegram channel claims Russian counteroffensive operations are currently taking place in the Donbas.''

Hi Occult

Did you notice the activities going on in other areas of the front that show Ukrainians gaining ground?

Yesterday they managed to circle around behind the defenve line and enter Russian trenches. They called oit several times for Russians to lay down their weapons and they wouldn't be killed those that didn't were shot down in their trenches.

They have made gains at Bakhmut as wel which is much heavier defended than where the Russians attacked. They attacked that sector making marginal gain solely to be able to show the Russian people something.

The Russian military has taken some serious losses that have gone underreported. Yes, this occurred in March but this type of long gun is the bread and butter of their offense by withering artillery, their main offensive tactic.

Counteroffensive progress 'slower than desired' says Zelenskiy

''Volodymyr Zelenskiy said battlefield progress in Kyiv’s counteroffensive against Russian forces had been “slower than desired”, the BBC reported on Wednesday.

“Some people believe this is a Hollywood movie and expect results now. It’s not,” it quoted the Ukrainian president as saying in an interview.

Ukraine has reported recapturing eight villages in the south in the last two weeks.''

Prigozhin says: (Autotranslate)

Pyatikhatki under the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robotino, the northern part - under the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Harvest - under the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Near to Tokmak - the Armed Forces of Ukraine, no weapons, no ammunition, the soldiers even need grenades, they write letters to the command.

The information is being shut up, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are going to the Molochny Liman, if possible, they will return most of the territories occupied by the Russian Federation.

The crossing of the Dnieper begins, in Hola Pristan there is already a DRG, soon regular troops.

All this is hidden from military correspondents. "There is a direct betrayal of the Russian Federation," and all this is happening against the backdrop of losses, with a shortage of personnel of 50-60%.

All that the leadership of the NWO is doing is juggling the facts for the transfer to the leadership of the Kremlin. They are deceiving Putin and the Russian people. At yesterday's collegium of the Ministry of Defense, an exhibition was discussed, which was organized by Shoigu's relatives and the parade.

In general, everything is going according to “plan”.

There is a rather interesting trend of how despite Ukraine being on the offensive that there are more confirmed Russian vehicle losses then of Ukranian vehicle losses.

Interestingly a lot of these Russian losses are in tanks and artillery.  Traditionally there isnt a lot of confirmed Russian artillery destroyed till Ukraine captured the positions where the Russian artillery was destroyed but these confirmed losses of artillery seem to be from drone footage.  Its circumstantial but this does suggest Russian losses during the Ukranian southern counter offensive are rather high.

It's early days yet. Wait, watch and learn.  The ax is going to fall, but Russia doesn't know where, and the anticipation is driving them crazy.

Between recon satellites and drones, how do you imagine the Russians will not be aware of where the spearhead will be?  One does have to mass forces before making such a move and I can't imagine that being concealed well enough to give more than hours or days of a "surprise", if that.  Also, unless they have an airborne Corps or two, how are they going to punch past the dug-in defenders?

Hi and-then, with all due respect, it's not quite the accuracy or details of any third party, or even media in general that was the focus of my reply. Rather the fact that anything coming from russia itself  i.e. kremlin, putin or any of its legitimate (or illegitimate) governmental departments etc can be taken with a huge pinch of salt. They are known, constantly, for lying. Bare faced, and often embarrassingly obvious lies at that. The country is built on lies.

It's so blatant, it's laughable.

Simpletons.

Hi Stiff

Things in Russia are getting heated up, yesterday it was posted that Prigozhin after recruiting and training new men may take them to Moscow instead of the frontline. An internal conflict for political gain will not bode well for Russian defence of occupied territory by fighting with each other.

One word, counterintelligence. I do believe the Ukrainians have been receiving some intel packages as part of the larger aid plans supplied.

Using what they know, and what they know the Russians know, they refine their battle plan.

A lot of Russian milbloggers are saying Ukranian forces have reached Robotyne.  If true, and it probably is true, it wont take long for Ukraine to liberate Robotyne and break through the first of three defensive lines.  The next Russian defensive line would be approximately 4.5 km south of Robotyne.

Once Robottne is secured along with the flanks Ukranian artillery can start shelling Tokmak with tube artillery which will effectively cut the only east to west rail line Russia has in southern Ukraine.

Come on people, Ukraine has already publicly announced its counter offensive failed, they have ordered a mass mobilisation to get more troops, and are talking themselves up again saying their will be more counter offensives.

It has already gone begging to the US for Abrams tanks after loosing most of the ones already given to it.

Except if you look at the map there is one motorway remaining, and if you zoom in using Google Earth to see regular roads there are 100s of them.

Hi ES

Yes there is anouther route by road that is over 150k detour. Many of the other roads can't take the weight of heavy equipment. As for railways they haven't been using it to supply and will likely get taken oit when they do.

All of this is cobeted in the video if you take the time to watch it as that is the reason I post it.

Hi ES

Obviously you do not read links in the thread. Please do give links that support your claim as the Ukraine has lost 1 tank and the others have been taken to be repaired. Tjat is supported by llinks given so maybe take some time to read and digest the imformation

I'm sure they are giving the Ukrainians the best intel they are able to share but that still doesn't allow them to fool Russian reconaissance from seeing where their troops and logistics efforts are massing.  At some point, the men and materiel for the push have to be advanced close to a jumping off point, don't they?  I don't see how you hide that kind of tell.

There are ways to conceal actual movements. US forces have been doing so for decades, both stateside and abroad. As they say, appearances can be deceiving to the outside observer.

Russian milbloggers are start to loose coherence on if Ukraine is close to, at, or in/controlling Robotyne.  This is actually a good sign as it suggests that stuff is happening faster then the Russian military can create a story for, when Ukraine did the counter offensive around Kharkiv there was near zero coherence among the Russian milbloggers on what was happening.

Some of the milbloggers are talking about how there is now almost no artillery or air support to assist the Russian ground troops which is a very real possibility.  Ukraine over the past week or so has done a lot to hurt Russian logistics including damaging a bridge 70% of Russian military supplies  cross, destroying a key train station, partisans destroying a railroad bridge south of Melitopol, and taking out multiple ammo and fuel depots throughout southern Ukraine.  At best the Russian military only keeps about 3 days worth of artillery shells dispersed around the artillery so the Russian military might be running into severe logistical issues.  This would also fit with what Prigozhin has said recently of the Russian military being nearly out if ammunition in southern Ukraine.

The head of "Wagner" PMC Prigozhin

Auto Translation:

"The Ministry of Defense is deceiving the public and telling the story that there was aggression on the part of Ukraine for 8 years, and they were going to attack us together with all of NATO. Ukraine did not attack the civilian population, only the positions of the Russian army"

No one killed 60 leopards, this is complete total nonsense, now the Russian army is retreating in the Zaporozhye, Kherson directions, - Prigozhin.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are pushing through the Russian army, we are washing ourselves with blood, no one gives reserves, there is no control.”

He is clearly the main fan of our victory

It is very important to understand that he is our enemy and he just tells what is profitable for him in his conflict with Shoigu.

But it is interesting to watch

Continue to publish the most interesting from the interview:

Translation:

Zelensky, when he became president, was ready for agreements. All that had to be done was to get down from Mount Olympus, go and negotiate with him,

"What was the war for? The war was needed for Shoigu to receive a 'hero star'. The oligarchic clan that rules Russia needed the war. The war was needed to install Medvedchuk as president of Ukraine.

It would seem a political fire is being stoked.
