And I will say again the Trans men and women I know are private, they don't flaunt their transition, they just want to quietly be accepted for who they are.  The Trans who are in your face make me question if transitioning is another way to feel special, not genuine.

We went to a "celebration of life" type funeral yesterday and their son is trans. We had a service for close friends and family before the general public arrived. He then went into the house so there wouldn't be any discussions or questions to draw attention away from the reason people were gathered which was to show their respects. I spent most of the time talking to him not wanting him to feel left out at a time like that.
