The Sun has been doing this for ages, not that anybody cares... Or reads any of it... I sure don't, or care to

I stopped reading it when they stopped showing pictures of naked teenagers on page 3 :D

Yeah, that's about all I know about it. Being in Malaysia I vaguely remember it was available when I was very little, can't say for sure, all the scandalous bits of the pictures of half naked women were blacked out with markers is all that I can say for sure. *mad magazine! How could I forget!*

My regular visits to my favourite newsstand was for comics, Shoot, Look In, Beano and Dandy in those days. Spent more time reading than money buying. Though I caught the Will Eisner The Spirit bug from around the same time, it was much later that I could afford it.

Newsstands are a thing of the past now innit?

If you can't answer that question yourself, you should have paid more attention in school. Seriously. It is a ridiculous question.

It is not I who needed to pay more attention. Read it again but widen your eyes and thinking. Good day.

Exactly! Dreadful, isn't it? It isn't reporting, it is weird opinion. It demonstrates why GBN has escaped Ofcom's rules on news, because it clearly isn't. Gutter press personified.

Ofcom is packed with ex BBC employees & as such is just as untrustworthy as the BBC itself.

I'm sorry for sounding unpleasant. I actually value your contributions- I don't think I ever agree with them, but they can be intersting.

It's pretty reliable reporting generally, don't you think though? It's a bit Lefty, but tries to be impartial.

I was going to make another post about GBNews, but there is no point, it is so constantly in the headlines for breaking all the rules about journalistic standards. It is why Andrew Neil resigned. It has no standards, it only survives by claiming it is opinion, not news. Farage, Wooton, Rees Mogg, Dories, that strange cleric- who could honestly admit to watching such nonsense put forward by such dangerous idiots?

Come on 96% of 2190 BBC reviews are wholly negative.

No one can deny with those figures that there aren`t serious problems going on with it. And who has to pay for it? Us, without a choice.

I agree a vociferous minority of the public are anti-BBC. They are also against law and order, the judiciary, the rule of law and decency in public life. The present government have replaced democracy with mob rule.

PMs who routinely break the law and lie to parliament. Ministers who stole millions of pounds of public money during Covid. A Chancellor fined for tax evasion. Cronies and donors elected to the House of Lords.

The root is the insanity of Brexit, and the need to pretend it is beneficial in some way. The only politicians who can do that are very poor calibre ones. People who can brazenly swear black is white in public.

Take our proposed membership of the CPTPP: it will add nothing to our economy, it will undermine our farming industry, and it has meant we have signed up to rules and laws over which we have no say. Yet we are expected to 'believe' it is preferable to the Single Market that we left- against all evidence which is glaringly obvious to the meanest intelligence. Once you can do that, it is not too hard to pretend the BBC is corrupt and GBN tells the truth.

For some strange reason, GBNews are not running stories on the serial sex offender Dan Wooton. Perhaps that's because he is one of their star presenters:

Just about every UK TV channel listed on Trust Pilot has predominantly negative reviews - you'd be hard pressed to find one that hasn't been review bombed to oblivion.

GB News is just over a year old, the others have been around since Trust Pilot was launched 16 years ago.

Also, look at the reviews themselves - GB News has been review bombed with 5/5 scores from people who literally state they are "sticking it to the left" ( many of these same individuals are responsible for negatively review bombing the other channels because they are perceived as left-leaning ).

It really is quite pathetic actually.
