From your link:
"A new drone which flies almost silently without wings or propellers has raised questions about how many supposed UFO sightings might actually be man-made craft."

Proponents of domestic/human made UFO's love that story. But it could never be used to explain away the UFO in Battle of LA, or any of the older ones.
It's just a copout for them.

I remember back in the days when I first heard about the Battle of LA... I really liked it.

But then, as always I had to research it, and after that not so much. Unless we are talking from a psychological perspective.

And as we know, well most of us anyway... that famous photo is a hoax.

well, I wasn't actually talking about the 'doctored' photo, but you may be interested in knowing that the original photo
was enhanced with new software and they say it proves that there was an object under that cloud of smoke.
1942 Battle of LA, photo enhancement shows an object under the cloud of smoke

So it looks like you think it never happened. Ok. And thanks, I'll read your link later.

The picture that appeared in The LA Times is the retouched for publucation version. It's not the original.

No kidding! The original is in the hands of the LA times, and available on the internet.

Wake me when they actually show something solid and not more stories and promises of 'disclosure'.

You haven't been paying attention.  There is an active cover-up in place.  There is plenty of evidence, but there is also an active disinformation campaign, paid for by people who have made billions from the patents obtained by retro-engineering downed alien craft.  You can't hide the evidence, but you can muddy the waters, corrupt the evidence, discredit the witnesses.  They learned these tricks from the Tobacco Industry's legal playbook.  I suppose you think that Smoking doesn't cause cancer because there is no evidence too?

I have have, that is the problem. This claim has been made, over and over again for decades on end.

If someone can show me a leap in tech via those "retro-engineering downed alien craft" then perhaps that would have some credence.

Iv been waiting for this aswell.

As always with these guys the claim is easy, but when it comes down to the evidence... thats where it ends.

Not only does it end there they also seem to have no problem with insulting all the people throughout history that have accomplished amazing things completely without 'aLiEn' help.

Also a problem with the "those people couldn't have built <insert megalithic structure>, must have been aLiEnZ!"

@Hazzard and @Esoteric Toad,

As a life-long believer in UFO's I have to say that I agree with your stance here and sadly have no resolution.
The Oversight committee says they will look into these wild claims, but I have my sincere doubts about this.

A year ago last June, we were to be getting all these declassified UFO reports from ALL intel agencies, recall?.
Ha! what a farce. No report was about an incident prior to 2002. Can you say, 'What a pile of bull chips.
As I have written in this forum, according to President Trump in 2020, Roswell is classified, but wasn't it supposed to be DEclassified?

But for some reason, they keep wooing us and cooing us. Strange and expensive game they play

My guess is that politicians get some positive publicity when they say they're going to declassify UFO reports, but when they're declassified no one cares because hardly anyone really cares about UFOs anymore. The UFO phenomenon has gone in aimless circles for decades. At this point few people are willing to waste their time reading about featureless dots in the sky or mysterious radar returns.

I agree, while at the same time admitting to being one of those incurable romantics.

Back in the day when they were called Flying Saucers and had little green men, is when I was cutting teeth and it really was an exciting time to be a UFOlogist.

"You can't put the Genie back in the bottle" - how true it is. The commitment has been made with no turning back.

No genie...no bottle. All stories, all conjecture.

Documented and verifiable data evidence and documentation goes far beyond what you claim is conjecture.

Once again I will bet nothing comes of this. As mentioned earlier most likely trying to cash in on the 'UAP = aLiEnZ" money grab.

Sure he'll make all sorts of claims with zero evidence and then will likely use the 'the government is hiding the evidence' for the lack of any tangible evidence.

Of course none of that will matter with regards to his ability to make money off of convention gigs and radio spots.

Dropping at the end of this month, a new Spielberg doc series "Encounters".

I'm pleased they will be including some of the original film from the Ariel school encounters:

You have to understand that those whistleblowers are putting their careers and well-being in jeopardy by coming forward. After all, look what happened to David Grusch.

The cat got out of the bag and Pandora's Box is now open. It is a brand new day and there is no turning back especially after a U.S. Air Force general overseeing North American airspace said that he would not rule out aliens and Avril Haines, the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), said that "UFO’s buzzing warships and being reported by US pilots could be of alien origin."
