I don't think we would solve anything.  We need to be more efficient in our energy use, not create more avenues of providing energy.   If we keep putting things up in orbit around the planet we will eventually only be able to get solar power from those satelites.  And I think that Sim City example is not so far fetched, how do you aim the energy to the surface without frying things inadvertently or purposely?

More energy accumulated means people will use more, it also means global warming and the Earth is getting more hot

Exactly, most energy produced is wasted presently with efficiency way lower than 50 % from production to use. And it's not taking into account the amount of using that is just throwing energy in the bin.
