UM-Bot Posted August 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2023 The intriguing find has been likened to something out of Dan Brown's novel 'The Da Vinci Code'. https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/369535/graves-belonging-to-the-knights-templar-found-in-staffordshire
Cho Jinn Posted August 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2023 The word "Templar" starts with the letter "T", and there is a "T" in Staffordshire. Coincidence????? 4
Antigonos Posted August 16, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2023 (edited) Nice. The article questions why there were as many as eight Templar graves in one location, which the most likely explanation is that it was the site of one of their preceptories and they died there. Or they may have all belonged to the same family, Staffordshire being their home. It wasn’t uncommon for joining the Templar order to be a family tradition. Besides the Holy Land, the Knights Templar had many land holdings throughout Europe, including vast estates in areas of France, Portugal, Spain and England.
