If someone was ill they could believe it is but how do we know it wasn't actually telepathy? Either way the naysayers wouldn't think it was because they won't accept it's a real thing. What I've seen is people with conditions like autism are much more aware of certain things that pass the general population by.

I bet it may have something to do with initial experiences that a person builds a belief by testing it and then assuming they aren't mislead. Different parts of schizo seem to grow at certain ages, telepathy hallucinations can get deeper at all different ages like you said.

We 'know' because as soon as any genuine attempt is made to prove telepathy (by ensuring no cheating is possible), the telepathy completely disappears. See if you can work out why that is....? Every study of telepathic powers ever done has either shown no powers, or has at least one - often several - flaws in the experiment design that allowed cheating. I'm happy to elaborate if you wish to name a study or paper that you think is convincing. There's also a documentary on this, called "The Men Who Stare at Goats"..

You have already made up and closed your mind and only go on experiments which as I've said earlier are useless in this area.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'insight'? How did you acquire yours? A little irony never goes astray - do mirrors not work at your house? I will change my mind on a dime if new evidence appears (evidence does not equate to stories you found on the webz). So wake me when telepathy becomes testable (and in doing so, also becomes ... useful...) Edited March 22 by ChrLzs

From around 55 years of experiencing and studying the paranormal from other's accounts of it. I also don't shut my mind off to things too much for most to accept. The same as your knowledge and experience of photography, which I never question. That's because I have no experience with it.

The obvious example of this is Clever Hans. This is the first time someone properly and reproducibly identified animals being sensitive to human body language. 1
