The pace of climate-driven extinction is accelerating, new study shows

We could stop this if we were to embrace and perform Oceanic Iron Fertilization, which is the most effective plan to end Climate Change and replenish ocean life to date.  I have heard about so called pros and cons to Oceanic Iron Fertilization, but the cons are all things a little lateral thinking can address easily.  What is certain is that we need to put concrete answers in place to stop the extinctions and negative weather effects of climate change and no better answer than Oceanic Iron Fertilization exists.  Iron will replenish the phytoplankton that are the true lungs of the planet, and replenish fish stocks in the process.  The phytoplankton will then gobble up the CO2 and make fresh oxygen stopping climate change.  Send this info to your elected representatives and demand action everyone.

This may not be the right thread to put this in but I don't want to start a new one.

First, my opinion is that humans have affected climate change by speeding up certain aspects of it with pollution, heat and weather manipulation.   However, I don't think switching from petroleum based energy to solar and wind energy solves as many problems as we are being told it would.   If that were true the petroleum companies would have embraced instead of blocked the technology 50 years ago.

Today I got a copy of that Epoch Times rag in my mail box.  I guess they are giving it away because no one will buy it, and their goal is to spread all kinds of nonsensical "news".    The headline was "Princeton, MIT Scientists Say EPA Climate Regulations Based on a 'Hoax'"   Why is the word hoax in single quotes?   So the professors mentioned, William Happer & Richard Lindzen, are no longer a professors, their titles have the word emeritus behind it.   Usually that means retired.   So they are out of the current loop of study.  They claim that "the claims used by the EPA to justify the new regulations aren't based on scientif facts, but rather political opinions and speculative models that have consistenly proven to be wrong.  The unscientific method of analysis relying on \consensus, peer review, government opinion, models that do not work, cherry-picking data and omiting voluminous contradictory data, is commonly employed in these studies and by the EPA in the Proposed Rule,"

My question is which corporations that are regulated are paying them to state this.

Well DUH!   Any time money is involved that has always been how it works.  The "new" EPA Regulations can be found at this link:

The clean air act:  https://www.epa.gov/laws-regulations/summary-clean-air-act

If you have kids you have.

Yep and none of them will be a mother. My youngest is sterile, and oldest is adopted. My middle kid is disowned. So my genetic investment is done.

So it doesn't matter to me.

It's not all about you. I did take that post down as it was a bit much, though true.

Doesn't matter, nothing matters. Eventually it'll all be charred space dust.

There are exceptions, fire ants and humans.
