Police stop runaway siblings, aged 10 and 11, who drove across Florida in mother's car

Two runaway siblings, aged 10 and 11, drove 320 kilometres across the US in their mother's car before they were stopped by sheriff deputies on an interstate highway.

The Florida children were running away to California, according to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they spotted the sedan on the highway near Gainesville, in north Florida, just before 4am on Thursday local time.

The children's mother had reported it stolen and her children missing four hours earlier in North Port, a city in south-west Florida.

The deputies, thinking that they were dealing with car thieves, drew their guns and ordered those inside the car to step out.

Worry about whatever you like.  If anything, that part of the state is solidly Democrat-voting.  Their actions say more about youth addicted to electronic devices and social stimuli than any other cause.  But hey, rage-on, buds...

You make a valid point but then you close off all avenue for discussion.  Is it possible that all humans, not just Democrats crave social stimuli and many neglected youth only get it through electronic devices?

I did my own tune ups except I had to borrow the timing light. But I knew TDC (top dead center) and all that other stuff. Fun huh?
