Still Waters Posted September 25 #1 Share Posted September 25 A convenience store has been forced to put extra virgin olive oil under lock and key after a series of thefts. You know the cost of living is through the roof when shopping items are serving time. Bizarrely, shoppers at the Co-op on Sprowston Road in Norwich, Norfolk, can only get oil bottles once they notify a staff member, who then has to fetch a bottle from the security area. The move comes after shoplifting in the area has soared, and police no longer treat it as a ‘crime'. https://www.ladbible.com/news/crime/shop-puts-olive-oil-behind-security-lock-after-shoplifting-soars-182825-20230925 Related:
