GBNews has more complaints than viewers after "misogynistic ranting".

In an extraordinary first, GBNews has had more complaints than actual viewers after the interview was posted on X (Twitter).

The Independent reports:

During last night’s broadcast, host Dan Wootton failed to challenge his guest and laughed along to Fox’s comments, who continued: “We need powerful, strong amazing women who make great points for themselves. We don’t need these sort of feminist 4.0. They’re pathetic and embarrassing. Who’d want to shag that?”

Fox’s shocking comments came in response to Evans’ recent statements during an episode of BBC Politics Live on Monday (25 September) about male mental health.

After failing to intervene to stop Fox’s outburst, and chuckling when Fox asked, “who’d want to shag that?”, Wootton made a belated attempt to defend Ms Evans.

  • The title was changed to GBNews has more complaints than viewers after "misogynistic ranting".

Multiple divorcée Fox wondering on who’d root who… is someone feeling “tension” by any chance?

Belittling male suicide is plenty misandrist, and Ava hasn't copped sufficient flack for that imo.

Lawrence has blown his cool and failed to make his point.

In summary :-

"I got really offended about something I didn't watch, I now want that thing to be closed down, so that way, the thoughts I find offensive will cease to be thought."

In the interview Dan Wootton was clearly uncomfortable, he did laugh, but to me that laugh wasn`t at finding it funny it was more a kind of laugh people give when they are in a situation where they dont know how to deal with something. While he didn`t challenge Fox he did kind of start defending her towards the end pointing out she is a beautiful woman.

She's pretty bonkers in her views. On the other hand Dan Wotton mocked Caroline Flack before she committed suicide: https://x.com/MarieAnnUK/status/1707286124828258456?s=20

I blame GBNews for encouraging this language though. I accept it is an opinion channel not a news channel, but not everyone makes that distinction (which is why Rees Mogg is being investigated for expressing his opinions as real news/facts). I don't think Lawrence blew his cool, according to his X posts it was scripted: https://x.com/edwinhayward/status/1706989680409895419?s=20

And still GB News grows stronger. They had a whole day where they beat the BBC in numbers of viewers recently. It portrays that they are more in touch then the BBC. They are already outpacing BBC, ITV and Channel 4. The politicians will want that stopped.

What is making these third rate celebs so toxic to each other? :(

Funny people calling for the channel to be shut down over this, and yet we've endured years of the BBC, ITV & Channel 4 harboring kiddie fiddlers & assorted sex offenders & yet they're still here. More double standards when it suits.

There’s an awful lot of manufactured outrage at Laurence Fox’s remarks about some poisonous feminist the other evening. Blimey, you’d think he’d suggested homicide. He only said he wouldn’t sh@g her. Big deal…

Bunter Boulton was immediately out of the traps, wanting GB News closed down…as were a number of other vested interests. In the words of John McEnroe, “You cannot be serious”.

Blimey, Channel 4, has inflicted endless dross on the British public, including the man they’re now accusing of rape, but carries on, unchallenged.

The BBC, knowing full well that Jimmy Savile was a nonce, gave him his own teatime show, where little girls came and sat on his lap. No problem there…

And they don’t like us to mention the excruciating Huw Edwards debacle…because the poor chap is having breakdown. He just gets sympathy.

Even the repulsive Piers Morgan felt he had to get in on the act and said he found Laurence Fox “Obnoxious.”

Does that reptilian creature have no sense of irony?

Pot…kettle…

If Dan is finally gone, it will be an opportunity for Russell Brand, I suppose.

Or Huw Edwards :D

Sir Jimmy Savile OBE. He was given a knighthood and an OBE by the  Queen on the advice of her government. Did they all know he was a nonce as well?

Now, after apologising, he has started ranting again. It seems he was triggered by GBN issuing a statement which, unusually for them, is actually accurate:

It comes as GB News, which is known as the 'home of free speech', defended its decision to suspend Fox in an internal email to staff which challenged the 'falsehood that conflates free speech with a right to verbally abuse'.

As far as anyone knows neither have Brand or Fox.

No, only the BBC.

Well, the victims know. What you mean is he hasn't been convicted yet. In Huw Edward's care, the other man involved has said there hasn't been a crime and the police are not involved. In Fox's case, he is the victim, of his own hubris.

Yes, innocent until proven guilty is still a thing.

I agree. It's funny though, now Cookie has told us Jimmy Carr is in the frame. It's seems we are experiencing a seismic moment, when misogyny is finally being called out. What a better world it will be.

Oh, I do think it's getting stronger. Just found out that GB News had 3 days in a row where they were bigger in viewing figures than BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Channel 4. And, best of all, there's a majority of people in the UK that have never heard of GB News.... the growth potential is huge and they are already big. Buh bye BBC, buh bye wokeism... close the door on your way out, thanks.

Oh come on! Listening to the nonsense GBN churns out would damage someone's brain. Just look at their presenters: Mad Nad Dories, 30p Lee Neanderthal, "Failure" Farage, a Covid conspirator, and Rees Mogg. A few people may tune in for a laugh when they trend on Twitter, but that's about it. It won't grow, the IQ of the general public is too high.

And yet the trend is up and up.

The viewers aren't tuning in for a laugh, they're pleased a channel that's not leftist, woke or biased is available to them and despite the vile name calling aimed at them, they continue to grow.

In fact the name calling drives people towards them. And the name calling of the viewers, (things like the inference the viewers must have a low IQ) just signals the way.
