Dianne Feinstein Dead

May she rest in peace.

Dianne Feinstein, longest-serving female US senator in history, dies at 90 | CNN Politics

Not really a shocker.  We definitely need term limits and a better solution for getting rid of politicians who have long gone past their expiration date.  I found it pretty cruel how both parties keep these congressman/senators in office for political reasons even though they are clearing drooling on themselves and need to be in a hospice.  I also think it shows how uninformed voters are and how the systems are rigged for incumbents.

She was a giant in the Senate at one point. It was sad seeing her decline over the last two years.

I didn't often agree with her sentiments, but she was from an earlier age where the politicians at least talked compromises, and not just black and white, and anger.

RIP

It is such an obvious case of malfeasance  that there is nothing much to say...

I associate her with the Clinton regime who's policies affected my life and the life of so many others very negatively.  When Bill Clinton dies I plan on river dancing and drinking whiskey from sunrise to sunset.

You going to drive your Chevy to the levee?

Well the Chinese won't be able to get anymore state secrets from her.

Rest in peace.

I think it's pretty sad that she spent her last time on this Earth slowly crumbling in the public eye and not relaxing while enjoying the company of her family and such like.

But props to her as a political success I guess.

I swear politicians are addicted to it. None of them ever seem to want to retire.

Meh...who cares...

Time finally took that power away :D

It's a damn shame we can't get these corrupt power mad creatures out of office till they turn to dust...

I won't shed a tear,I won't even say condolences...say the exact same thing I said about McCain...

Good riddance! :tu:

I think this will be a common thing now since Ginsburg refuse to step down from the supreme court. She set the precedent. So now they believe they can and will do the same. Stay in office until death. God help us.

Guess she got tired of the "Weekend at Bernies" life she'd been living, and gave up the ghost. Let the fights over her will begin.

Is this going to mean the REPUBLICANS have control of the Senate, even if only temporary??

Edit... Oh, the vote is still 50 to 49, so Ds still control the Senate.
