People can be so cruel. I'm glad she found her forever home.

The level of disconnect some humans are capable of is staggering.

Relieved things worked out for this lovely gal.

I hate people.

Well, I wouldn't go that far, but I can say that for me it's easier to justify in my own mind killing a wicked man than it is to harm any animal.

Some people should never have pets. They don't deserve them.

Yeah, I'll rephrase that and say I hate people who mistreat animals.

I watch videos on YouTube now and then showing various pet rescues, mostly dogs. The condition some of those poor animals are in is just heart breaking and every time I think how in the world can people be so cruel and heartless to just dump them like that. Some dogs are found tethered so they can't even move very far, some are just puppies, some are injured, and they're all hungry and distressed. It amazes me how they can ever trust humans again but in time they do and find happiness in their forever homes. Thank goodness there are people out there who do care and the rescuers who are brilliant.
