Grim Reaper 6 Posted October 18 #1 Share Posted October 18 For centuries, the concept of the Second Coming has been central to Christian beliefs. Adherents frequently turn to the Bible to understand potential signs of this anticipated event. The Bible, specifically in Matthew 24:6, mentions the forewarning of wars and rumors of wars as signs of the end times. Recent global events, particularly the heightened conflicts in countries like Israel and Ukraine, are seen by some as the manifestation of these biblical prophecies. Matthew 24:7, wherein Jesus prophesied the advent of famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, resonates in the context of today’s increased natural disasters. The frequency and intensity of such calamities as hurricanes, earthquakes, and disease outbreaks have surged, drawing parallels with biblical predictions and prompting discussions regarding their possible significance in the context of the Second Coming. Popular Post cormac mac airt Posted October 18 Popular Post #2 Share Posted October 18 As long as Christianity lasts people will be looking for “the End Times” despite the fact the Book of Revelation was intended for a nearly 2000 year old audience. cormac 5

Then you get to see that the fundies on all sides are playing games trying to setup the Middle East just right.

Like the Reform Jews, Presbyterians, Unitarians and Quakers want to do. Make the world peaceful and more livable. *Jesus came back already because he lives in their hearts* is what those Christians think. The Reform Jews are waiting for a Messianic Age. Not a Messiah, but a world which everyone gets along.

Guyver Posted October 19 #12 Share Posted October 19 This thread is lame. I’m sorry. It’s just so overplayed. It’s like children playing with a toy xylophone. There is no Jesus coming back, and whoever started this thread obviously does not read the Bible, or just wants to post religious extremism for kicks and giggles. What I say now, I say to everyone who can hear, and anyone who has ever read a Bible, or has one in their home. If you happen to be afraid of these foreboding messages about Jesus return, which by the way means the end of the world as we know it…..just do this. Go get a Bible, read it. Study it. Make charts and graphs….do anything you want, but know this. Jesus does not come back before the antichrist and the antichrist cannot arise without a Jewish Temple, on its proper mount, making animal sacrifices daily. Until that happens, everyone else in the whole world should find something else to be afraid of. 1 3
Guyver Posted October 19 #13 Share Posted October 19 I just read my lava lamp. Yeah, it’s actually a thing. I read my lava lamp. Well, may I say, as a complete rookie, I’ve been learning to read my lava lamp, and so far I have had some small success. Anyway, you know how people come on the forum and they are looking for a reading? It’s a thing. A lot of people believe in getting a reading, and to be honest, I do believe a little thanks to a wonderful lady on this forum who gave a me an awesome reading that did come true and did help me. Anyway, I’m learning to read my lava lamp it told me that something disjointed was either occurring or about to occur…if I read it correctly, and that is not good news. But, since I don’t even believe in my own religion, that I myself created about lava lamp reading…..I dismiss that reading as applying to me, because right now, things are really going well.
Guyver Posted October 19 #14 Share Posted October 19 OMG?! After contemplation, what a fool I am to have doubted my own lava lamp reading. Something disjointed did occur in my life this very night. I played a show, and I had a situation that occurred with my senior member and it make me pick up on a thing that I may not say out loud. Kinda like it’s not ok in golf to say you have the shanks? Shanks in golf is a word that should not be spoken. One may refer to it. One may find a polite way to work around it..like, for example…you may say…”I hit near the hosel.” You say it like that because you know you don’t want it. Until you have become a skilled or semi-skilled golfer and gotten a case of the shanks, you really don’t know shame and humiliation. And, when it happened to me the first time? I was playing with the big hitters that day. And normally, these guys joke a lot. I mean, nothing is really off limits on the golf course when it comes to jockulating, anyway…not one dude said a word. Oh yes, they saw my struggle. They observed what was happening….but since it was so horrific, not one dude said a thing good or bad. Normally, in our games…if someone makes a good shot we say good shot. Or, if they eff up we say “duffed it.” But, not when someone has the shanks. It’s so bad, no one wants it and everyone has experienced it. You line up your shot, you do what you normally do…then, you hit the ball and it literally goes like 50 yards in the opposite direction you were aiming. That’s pretty much it…except for it lasts four hours or more.

Obviously, you didn't read the source in the Op because the Op uses direct quotes from the bible, so just maybe you are not as familiar with the bible as you think. My personal knowledge of the bible is infantile, but I did actually research the source in the Op to ensure that the biblical references were as written in the bible, and they are. 56 minutes ago, Guyver said: What I say now, I say to everyone who can hear, and anyone who has ever read a Bible, or has one in their home. I don't understand where fear plays into this, many Christians Organizations pray for the day that Jesus will return. So, if by chance I am wrong for not following Christianity that's upon me and I will pay for it, however, I certainly, speaking only for myself am not afraid of it!!🤡 Oh and by the way, one of the few things I am afraid of are clowns, but I still used for an emoji!!🤡 JIMHO 1

trevor borocz johnson Posted October 19 #19 Share Posted October 19 Any person during modern times, who one side declared Jesus, would be polluted with everyone's ache for filth from any side and everyside. Lies about him from a population that is immoral to say the least is probably why angels disguise it as the return of original Jesus, something people will fire up in debate when we become ancient's.
