Aliens,’ or a foreign power? Pentagon UFO chief says someone is in our backyard

“According to AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick, alarming UFO activity in ‘our backyard’ can be attributed to one of two extraordinary sources: A foreign power or ‘aliens.’”

Post should be titled ‘OPINION:…’

It’s a shame that nothing publicly available supports these claims of remarkable manoeuvres etc.:

‘Speaking to the Daily Mail, an intelligence source stated that there are “dozens” of unreleased videos recorded by surveillance drones, some of which show “orbs” conducting “remarkable [maneuvers], like suddenly bolt[ing] off the screen.”

Moreover, multiple sensors have apparently observed “metallic orbs” and “translucent”spherical objects traveling at speeds ranging from “stationary to Mach 2,” or twice the speed of sound, with “no [detectable] thermal exhaust.” According to Kirkpatrick, the objects’ enigmatic flight characteristics amount to a unique UFO profile that his panel is “out hunting for.”’

Human factors / misidentification / misinterpretation of data is the more likely 3rd option.

If Russia or Occupied West Taiwan had UFOs, they would have used them in a conflict by now.

Absolutely. And used them to devastating effect since they toy with the best U.S. weapons America has to offer

If it was a foreign power that possessed such aircraft, America's spy network would have figured that much out by now, don't ya think?

Think about it - the US had the nuclear bomb, and in short time, the Soviets were delivered the secret to it. Too hot to sit on, someone will give it up.

To be sure, the ramifications of either would be significant. But Kirkpatrick’s comments, which come as he is about to retire after a 27-year defense and intelligence-focused career, are more intriguing because he also says that “none” of the hundreds of military UFO reports analyzed by his office recently “have been positively attributed to foreign activities.”

Actually the post should be titled ‘UFO disclosure is imminent’

…which should mean the best thing for you to do is quickly quit your job, stock up the pantry and wait for further instructions from our new overlords…

Surely you’re not saying your extensive research and news reading is more valuable than what AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick has been privy to?

Good point, UT.

AARO has access to many incidents that never get cited at offbeat forums, let alone MSM. And they have advanced tech to help AARO with their investigation.

Take the Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye - Wikipedia. Beautiful craft.

Yes. it obviously operates radar and IFF systems but does so much more than that , and of course, that info is kept quite secret.
This craft was highlighted in the video "Go Fast".

It seems to me that he and I are looking at different data sets.

He's looking at ones that have passed through the hands of people who tossed out obvious misidentification and obvious hoaxes.  I'm looking at ones brought by the public.

HOWEVER, if he also dismisses those out of hand then he may still be subject to people who are passing along what they firmly believe to be correct data -- but who may be approaching it from their own biases.  Hoax and bad identification of a known object seen at a weird angle or distorted slightly) cannot be ruled out.

X AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick will be another Nick Pope.

Why do you think he left his job? Ton of cash to be earned on the good old: 'UFO/ now UAP, aliens on this planet' bandwagon..

I wish I could make this a sticky topic:

a prediction- X AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick will have a book out by this time next year/ tons of TV interviews/ documentaries/ lectures/ on The Joe Rogan Experience 10 times in the next 12 months etc etc

oh well, we'll see

AARO Director Sean Kirkpatrick, is definitely higher up on the UFO tree than most so the data he sees is more accurate I’m guessing.

But to dismiss or pre assume that his data set might/is faulty would suggest the airforce/navy/army and intelligence agencies have it wrong and social media and chat forums are closer to the truth.

Nah, I’m going with AARO
