The Glen Coe cottage tainted by Jimmy Savile

Tucked into a hillside on a bend of the A82 in Glen Coe sits an old white cottage.

The little house is dwarfed by its neighbour across the road, the towering Three Sisters ridges of the 1,150m (3,773ft) mountain Biden nam Bian.

Its name, Allt-na-Reigh, roughly translates from its mangled Gaelic as "burn of the slope", a reference to the stream that rushes close by and down under a bridge on the A82.

But Allt-na-Reigh is in a sorry state having become a target for attacks on the memory of its dead former owner - Jimmy Savile.

It is little known amongst the public but if they type it into a search engine they will quickly find out all about it.

One of the victims of the Yorkshire Ripper was discovered 100 yards from where Jimmy Saville lived at the time. They arrested Savile, and even took an imprint of his bite. He was ruled as having no involvement but both were known to have visited some same prostitutes (of which the victim was one).

Now he has been revealed as a necro paedo devil worshipping degenerate, it makes you think doesnt it.

I think the best thing to do with the cottage is bulldoze it to the ground and let nature reclaim it. I watched the Jimmy Savile documentary, it's mind boggling how he went on for so long undetected.

I too watched it. It seems he wasn't undetected; he was under investigated. I visited Broadmoor Hospital while he had a guest room there, the staff loathed him.

Agreed, they should. I watched it too. Fascinating and disturbing at the same time.

The Scottish Daily News has a good article on the connection. I certainly wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Savile being a part time accomplice. The only thing that argues against it for me is that I see no reason why Sutcliffe wouldn’t have implicated him after his own arrest if it were in fact true.

Councillors asked to approve Savile cottage demolition

Highland Council's south planning applications committee will consider the proposed redevelopment on Tuesday 18 June.

It has been proposed to demolish the existing single storey house and replace it with a new four-bedroom one-and-a-half storey house, with a two storey rear section.
