I noticed this morning, lol! Immigration is such a rich seam, now there is the new minimum earnings of £38K (immigrants will earn more than UK workers in care homes), the £15 million more to Rwanda, and Tory revolt over cutting back essential workers. The asylum system and immigration are such a shambles, I forget what I have already posted. There is some good stuff about the new raised limit- how would you feel working in a care home, knowing a new immigrant staff member has a starting rate of £38K/annum? And if they did not take them on, the care home would close as there are no UK staff available? Shambles.
