That it fascinating and a shame that they ruined its integrity for test material. It has been a long time I wish we could know more about the developments.

He described it as egg shaped. Sounds similar to the tic-tac object that Navy pilots pursued over the ocean.

That reminded me of the description of an egg-shaped UFO in the Lonnie Zamora case.

No seriously, if they got a piece off then they must have gotten inside eventually. I wonder what was in there.

His great uncle told him...

The egg shape is something that the most recent book by Jaques Vallee talked about from stories he has gathered about a 1945 crash.  Maybe that is the same vehicle/object because it was taken away by the military, though New Mexico has plenty of military and national lab facilities, no reason to haul it all the way to Groom Lake (Area 51 is a map designation, not the name of any non-"secret" facility).

That's one of the details that a lot of people don't know about.

Now if someone actually referred to its current naming convention or even it's previous names, including the Defense Testing and Proving Facility at Groom Lake, then I might be interested.

Apparently, that was not the case in the Lonnie Zamora case. Case in point:

Central Intelligence Agency

"In an article for Studies in Intelligence called, “The Investigation of UFO’s,” Quintanilla says that the Zamora sighting is “the best-documented case on record.” It remains unsolved."

I really have no idea, Nicolette. It seems to be an otherworldly construction, but who knows, it could be an autonomous vehicle, which  means, no one is in it.
