The Guardian and Observer 2023 charity appeal has so far raised more than £1.3m for refugee and asylum seeker charities, with more than 11,500 readers donating. The appeal is supporting three charities: Refugee Councils of Britain, Refugees at Home and the No Accommodation Network (Naccom). Here, with just hours to go before the appeal closes six readers tell us why they were inspired to give.
