We either need to start building a LOT more houses, or we should return to Freedom of Movement and temporary and seasonal workers asap.

The UK population is projected to grow to 70 million in two years, according to new figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The figure was part of a series of projections the organisation released today based on current and past trends, which looks at data over a 15-year period from mid-2021 - when the population was estimated to be 67 million.

By mid-2036, the population is projected to grow to 73.7 million, including net international migration of 6.1 million.

I wonder if there are any towns and cities with measurable decreasing populations and if the reasons are similar with each other.  e.g.  The young leaving their little towns for the big cities.
