China's largest banks have stopped accepting payments from sanctioned Russian financial institutions, a Russian newspaper reported on Wednesday, dealing a blow to relations between the two nations.

China has not tried to keep financial transactions going by instructing banks what to do, which they are happy to do when it suits.

China looks after China.

It knows it has a major challenge coming with the USA, so it is carefully trying to navigate its rise to dominance.

On this we agree, but the reality is N.Korea is sending missiles using American, European and some Asian parts to Russia and China made concessions with both the US and Russia in making this move. They can rework some support in other ways with Russia that will be employed.
