"Speaking to podcaster Grant Mitt, Luna stated that she was certain that UAPs are of "non-human origin" and could even contain "inter-dimensional beings".

Well, Anna Paulina might be a very nice person but a person with such beliefs would clearly not be welcomed here at U-M's UFO/Aliens forum. Such a shame. :geek:

Why wouldn't she be welcome here with those beliefs?

You can't have a view that UFOs are alien on here... the mob start getting restless.

There's a list or permissible reasons allowed:

Cloud formations

Jupiter

Mass hallucinations

Viewer was drunk or under the influence of drugs

No trained military personnel or pilots know what they are seeing / they are mistaken and they have misidentified the craft

Glare of windscreens

Flares

Craft so secret that the government is covering up that we have tech that can t4un right angles at speeds in excess of the speed of sound

Or you can fall back on:

Why would aliens bother with us

The vastness of space isn't understood by anyone reporting an alien UFO

Is simply, you're wrong.

I'm not sure why  the non-believers come on here really.

or the statement 'absolutely believes' means exactly that, she BELIEVES. I am sure I do not need to explain that believing proves zero.

"non-believers", as you put it, doesn't describe a lot of the people on here. They are simply wanting REAL evidence, not claims. No matter what that article says (or video) it is yet another claim.

If people want an echo chamber then they need to find someplace else (and there are plenty of them out there). I can't see the point of hanging out somewhere where everyone agrees with everything that is put out. Would seem awfully boring and ultimately produces nothing of value.

For people like you and I certainly. Critical thinking requires effort. It’s comforting for those incapable or unwilling to engage in it to hang out in groups because it’s not about intellectually stimulating discussion, it’s solely about validation. No other reason to be satisfied with hanging around in an echo chamber unless it makes your tummy warm to not have your beliefs challenged by others who actually have standards when it comes to evidence.

I don't know what you're talking about, you, sky, HH, and OMSkeptic among others would welcome her.  Why so sensitive to people disagreeing especially on this topic, this is a discussion forum not a church.

But of course despite the absolute and staggering lack of any evidence of intelligent life outside of Earth, yeah let's just jump right to the extraterrestrial visitation hypothesis. Makes sense.

When anyone asks difficult questions or provides logical and reasonable explanations for the items that are reported, that is somehow a bad thing.

Like everyone, she is welcome to believe whatever she likes.  Just so long as she doesn't come on here and demand that everyone else agrees with her (or get shirty when we point out flaws in her beliefs and/or other alternative explanations) ;)

As much as the dogmatic complain that skeptics aren't open-minded, it is they that are mired in the narrative.

Interesting. There does seem to be a cover up that recurs year after year. One day we will learn the truth but as of now, it appears that the powers that be are content with not revealing all.

Covered up by who? What is covered up every year? If it's covered up, how do you know about it?

Sorry @Dejarma, I know that's your line 😂

Utter bollox!!

You need to grow up & stop throwing in the victim card every time someone puts forward a reasonable rebuttal that goes against what you feel!

Say something interesting.. Find a skeptical rebuttal in here, look at it, understand it & put some effort into a logical coherent rebuttal of your own!

Let's see what ya got rather than the usual ridiculous boring childish attitude like: 'I'm being mocked/ attacked/ ganged up on by the mob'  just because you don't know what to say! It's pathetic 💤

Could very well be... but Im not so sure its the one you are thinking about!

"So the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) developed a new expertise: Feeding made-up disinformation about aliens and UFOs to the UFO enthusiasts, indicating that the United States did indeed have deep relationships with aliens. In some cases, this information — which was exactly what the UFO groups salivated for."

Well, let me tell you why.  A lot of us believe there is possibility of something alien and real.  However, we feel it necessary to sift through all of the fluff and BS to see if something of substance remains behind that might be a real encounter, not just a wannabe.  If you see something unusual, it is disappointing to look more closely and find it to be very mundane.  But it is the only honest thing we can do and be true to ourselves, so that when the irrefutable comes along, we will have discounted all of the other explanations first.

That is because they cannot accept reality for what it is.

For an example, folks like highly experienced military and commercial pilots, radar operators, military and intelligence officials worldwide, strategic missile commanders in the United States and in Russia, and military security personnel, scientist, engineers and astronomers who've reported tracking flying saucers and flying triangles, (a.k.a. UFOs) and some members of Congree who have reviewed classified material that proved the objects are not man-made, are not welcome here either.

You had me until I had to rely on the honesty and intelligence of Congress people.

Experienced people see things that are beyond normal expectations for a craft, no doubt about it.  I am not sure that guarantees they are not man made.  I doubt because the world is full of fraud and fraudsters that want to make a buck or have their 5 minutes of fame.  I also doubt because it is beneficial for the military to keep the public interested and collect all of the data they can especially if it pertains to unknown man made objects.  The military may be more interested and threatened if it is an unknown Chinese or Russian capability that is observed.

I am really surprised it has taken this long to get talked about. I saw a video of all the different members of Congress coming out of that classified meeting in the SKIFF and her comments were the same then as they are now regarding "inter-dimensional", and were half-backed up by at least one other who was asked about it.
The video of them all leaving the meeting and discussing it with reporters can be found here: X.COM

Thanks for the link @ExoPaul

All this so called important, serious sounding stuff based on nothing more than one individual telling stories??
If the claims are real then IN_MY_OPINION  there would be NO WAY any of this would get out to the public.

The only logical conclusion (again IN_MY_OPINION) must be it's all BS!

Grusch must have signed the official secrets act.. So why (if it's all real) is he whistle blowing?

I'm starting to get the feeling that this: 'ufo/ aliens on this planet (or now ED as well it seems) cash cow bandwagon is more involved/ lucrative than I first thought....

It's actually called a SCIF and as has been noted previously, nothing about aliens or anything of that nature. Even at the 4:44 mark Rep Luna explains that even Grusch has never used the words extraterrestrial or aliens.

That briefing only generated a lot of bellyaching from the attendees about classification and access.

So, did see disclose what she saw in the meeting to make her believe?

Skeptics are good.  Otherwise Bigfoot, The Lock Ness monster and many other things would be thought to exist by most people.

Argument from authority.

Again.

That you do not understand why this is a fallacy explains your continual illogic and unreason.

That's not a feature, by the way.

I agree 100%. It's a total disservice to anyone who wants to get a full perspective about the topic and learn what those in government and the military are exposed to.
