Neighbor filmed this above my house

Is there more detail about this?

Was it cloudy or clear, did they/it move or is it just a shaky camera.

The object looks like it might be changing colors due to atmospheric effects?

Suggesting it was not close but local weather conditions would have a variable effect on how steady the view was.

It's out of focus, but just looks like aircraft navigation lights to me  (blinking red and green, plus some background yellow from headlight)

And that's why pics and vids don't really matter anymore. Gotta be seen with the eye.

Hey everyone. Hope all are well. So my neighbor filmed this strange flashing light above my house. The clip is short cause it was the only way she could send it to my phone.

She said there were 5 of them. Has a longer video showing more that I will eventually post.

Obviously the video is rough, and doesn’t really reflect what was seen, nor am I making any claims about it. Just thought some here might find it interesting.

Whose YouTube channel has this posted to?

Also, "#alian" 🤣

The more the better actually. Even then, there needs to be more. Because has been highlighted in numerous threads eyewitness testimony can be wrong.

Clear night. Yes she was shaking the camera.

As for the colors I have no idea.

Well I’ve been here 20 years, so I can definitely say they are not navigation lights.

You don’t have to be a jerk about it. I had some lights above my house not normally there, thought some might like to see what I could provide. Nothing more.

That looks like the beautiful star Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. It's out of focus of course but the red/blue twinkle is unmistakable.

Good call. Not saying it is what was seen, but definitely a good candidate if his area can see it.

Definitely wasn’t Sirius. Sirius faces north. This was west. More importantly it hasn’t been back.

There were also more than one. She filmed this directly over my house. And the one I saw was miles away over the river.

The video did remind me of Sirius too though. Definitely a good guess.

Funny after I wrote that, I thought that I may have judged to early. That you may very well have had zero choice in the matter.

I agree.  I do think it’s interesting, and I see why you posted it.  I would like to bring up the point that there is a difference between an actual camera, and a cell phone camera.  Every cell phone I have ever had takes crappy pictures unless the object is in close proximity…..which is what I think cell phone cameras are designed for. You know, selfies, taking pictures of your food so you can post it online lol.  So, an object in the sky even from a few hundred yards away in day or night conditions….the photos just do not come out well, and the same goes for video.  Basically, I’m saying that without professional quality gear, and especially with a cell phone, if the thing is not right close to you, you will get crappy pictures and videos.

One day, I happened to be outside and noticed a blimp flying by overhead pretty close to my house.  I had my phone, but I already knew the pictures would be crap, so I went inside, got my IPad (which takes better pictures) and I went outside, zoomed in as best I could, took the pictures…..still crap.  Does anyone know how large a blimp is, like say the famous Goodyear blimp?  It’s fricken huge and they are slow!  So, in broad daylight and clear skies I couldn’t even get a good picture of a giant slow moving blimp!  I’m just saying.  Getting good photographic evidence is not easy to do.

While playing golf, I had a wild animal pass in front of me not more than 20 or 30 yards away.  Grabbed my phone, here’s what I got. Can you tell what it is?

I see stuff like that all the time where I'm at. I never think much of it. Most if not all could be low orbit satellites.
