If you hit the archives, and go to the earliest posts, you'll see the same bunch doing the same thing. I think it may be some superiority kink. Like vultures circling, except the reward is confirmation bias among them. You'll find the same bunch in the E.T tab going back to the the beginning also. One even claimed they'd been doing this for twenty years. That was before he joined UM. So at least 30 years. Is that dedication, or signs of OCD?

I understand what this thread is saying,... i have my opinions on it. give us something you feel backs it up as being legit/ possible & i'll have an adult debate about it with you as well :tsu:

Not sure where you are looking but I simply do not see what you describe. Most of the people that have been on here for a long time simply want the same thing, real evidence.

Seems someone's threshold for 'hostile' is pretty low. The only hostility I have seen is after years and years of certain posters spamming the same thing over and over again (and I do mean OVER AND OVER AGAIN) people finally got a bit fed up with it. It is a forum after all and it is supposed to be a discussion backed with actual evidence with the rules that go along with debating.

Sorry, the world is full of people making claims about all sorts of things. Some folks want evidence to back those claims. A lot of people apparently have a very loose definition of evidence and get a bit upset when challenged.

For those folks there are other forums with low standards that will accept anything as evidence and everyone can sing kumbaya while patting each other on the back.

 

PS - you can block posters that you find offensive. I know I have used it a few times.

Go back to the very beginning in the archives,  and start there. Et, and paranormal tabs. Start your search with most replied to.The same people are still here doing now, what they did then, drive new members away by trying to humiliate, goad, and bully. The amount of people who've been driven off over the years is discouraging to say the least.

Really not sure why they come here. 

It's been so bad on occasion that I wonder if they are paid to be that way.

Yet here we are, not a SINGLE skeptical comment made, and the ‘believers’ are already getting the hostility flying!
