I just watched this on Korean News, it’s a terrible situation 40 dead and 100 wounded and apparently it is still going on!:cry:

40 killed, more than 100 wounded in attack on Moscow's Crocus City Hall (msn.com)

Kirby also reiterated the State Department's warning that all Americans in Moscow should avoid large gatherings, saying "they should stay put where they are, and stay plugged into the State Department for any additional updates and information."

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow had issued a warning on March 7, advising U.S. citizens to avoid large gatherings for 48 hours, saying extremists have "imminent plans" to target large scale gatherings in Moscow.

Russia, understandably, wants the US to share any information they may have about the attack.

CNN is saying it's very possible that the US did warn Russia of what they got from intelligence and were ignored. I'm watching it on TV.

Really!?

Let me get this straight! It's okay for Russia to attack and kill civilians inside Ukraine but it's not okay if  Ukraine attacks Russia inside their country and targets civilians?

It appears that the attack was a Terrorist attack by ISIS, at least that's what is being reported by some of the news agencies!

Apparently, US Intelligence has stated that they warned Russia that a Terrorist attack inside Russia was being planned weeks ago!!!

I'm just glad my nephew and his wife got out of Russia when they did and now they're back on us soil.

Any Americans living in Russia these days are seriously placing themselves in danger. I am glad they got safely your nephew is smart guy!:yes:

That is certainly true, but if Russia tries to blame the Ukraine no one will pay any attention to them!!!!

Really sad. I know they say it’s ISIS but I can’t believe this act of terror and the Ukraine invasion are mutually exclusive

The people in Russia will. This attack will be spun so that any discontent, any disagreement is silenced. “We were attacked BY the Ukrainian Nazis. We were SAVING THEIR PEOPLE and they attacked us!” that sort of propaganda. 
Anyone who speaks out against the war is now “with those terrorists”. Their imprisonment is now a patriotic act.

Yep, there was little doubt in my mind that Russia would blame the Ukraine but everyone is now reporting that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.

It's also reported that the US Embassy tried to warn Russia before the attack. Here's a Newsweek report from March 8 when US citizens were warned to stay away from any large gatherings. The UK Embassy tried also. Russia chose to blame the US and the UK for any attack threatened.

"The U.S. and British embassies warned of the threat of terrorist attacks on March 8 in Moscow. In a coordinated manner," said Simonyan, according to the Telegram channel of independent Russian journalism project ASTRA.

Pro-Kremlin Telegram channels and military bloggers also responded to the warning negatively, implying that any attacks in Russia would be the fault of the U.S. or the U.K.

Time will tell you could certainly be right; however, world opinion will not blame the Ukrainians!!!!

I’m not suggesting Ukraine was behind this, but why would ISIS hit Russia? Is there a history there I missed?
