No sir, I am sorry to be truculent.  I have purposely gone with out food and water for three days at at time while in a “prayer closet” - as Robert Plant, arguably one of the if not for Paul McCartney, maybe the best ever?  Is said to have done, but…let’s face it…he was a rock star.  His stories are not to be believed?  Right?  I mean, Jimmy Page couldn’t even make it from England to New York without getting busted on the plane for smoking a cigarette in the bathroom.

I've had the honour of seeing plant and page in concert

Robert didn't meet god either. He often referenced Norse mythology as well as Tolkien's works extensively. It was just his style I think. He was and is a dreamer which I always felt what what made him such a diverse artist.

Well I suppose the bright side is now you know. Been there done that and all that.

Well, guess what.  Save yourself from that torture.  You go talk to God for three days without food and water, here’s what you’re going to find out.  You are talking to yourself.

Well that's one way of getting a discussion on an equal intellectual level! :w00t:

Yes, that's right. The discussions were had after he wrote his book.

I'm not sure what that has to do with forensic examination of a case study?

Very debatable..

The Esquire article also accuses Alexander of falsifying medical records to cover up the fact that he’d operated at the wrong site on a patient’s spine when working as a neurosurgeon.

I am claiming Dr. Eben Alexander, one of the greatest that America can produce….kinda like Tom Brady, actually said some things about what it’s like to suffer brain death, and I think his words are worth considering.

There is a story, and this may be where the prayer closet stories of Robert Plant come from - it was told by Jimmy Page on a documentary that I watched.  Jimmy said, on the day that they wrote Stairway to Heaven, Jimmy already had the parts all written and had already shared it with the band.  He knew what he wanted.  It was a slow build.  And he even envisioned strings in it. Anyway, when Robert Plant shows up, they play it for him one time.  He says excuse me, he goes into a closet in the recording room for 20 minutes, sits down cross-legged, and comes out with Stairway to Heaven.  And you people tell me you don’t believe in spirit?  That was Jimmy Page telling how stairway to heaven came to be.  That should be considered holy in my world.

Who could sit down with a pen and a notebook, after listening to the band for one take, then come out with the lyrics to Stairway to Heaven?  I mean, honestly.  Believe whatever you want Joc, but that is beyond amazing if true.  I couldn’t write Stairway to Heaven if I tried for 10 years.  And he did it almost as if it were nothing.

Would the greatest that America can produce operate on the wrong side of a patient?

America's in trouble if that's the best it can produce.

You know, you people want to talk about gods and spirits?  I have a great story. STOP right there.  Don’t you know, stories are anecdotal evidence that doesn’t amount to a pile of sh!t on the street.  Fine…here’s something real.  Stick it in your pipe and smoke on it.  You know how most everyone on this forum says that Ouija boards are a child’s toy and make believe?  Yeah…go search the forums.  Everyone says false. Ideomotor effect.  Here’s the truth.  Can you handle the truth?

It did it once as a boy with my first best friend.  We first smoked cigarettes together because we saw the big boys do it, but we were just kids.  We didn’t know what we were doing.  We smoked menthols.  Seriously?  In my mind that is the nastiest cigarette ever invented but whatever.  Here is the true story.  Myself, and my best friend, who became my one and only true blood brother Robert, got a board from his mom.  We tried it.  It worked.  A spirit spoke to us.  It was really weird because the spirit was making the pointer move….and then, after a long conversation about who we were were actually speaking with…the spirit told us it was Billy The Kid.  I remember this so clearly , as Psyche speaks in praise of the human brain…I stopped the game for a pause, and I said to my friend, this is bad, we need to get out of this right now.  And, he said yeah…so we did.  We exited the game the way it is instructed…you say thank you and good by to the spirits, and you are fine.  After that…we didn’t even say anything about it.  We acted as if it were normal, but it was not normal.  Something besides us spoke to us that day…and the idea that it could have been Billy the Kid made it seem like bad spirits to me.  Billy the Kid was a psycho killer.  Do wish to speak to a psycho killer?

You would need actual evidence to prove that happened.

I saw them on the no quarter tour, when they went acoustic. The covered break on though near the end of the concert, and some amazing musician went on stage with a hurdy gurdy.

A concert I'll remember all my life.

You know

I really like the lyrics today. They are very relevant to daily life. It's made me a big hip hop fan. Some of those blokes are amazing poets.

And some just make me smile. I mean how relevant are these lyrics in today's world. I know I went though it.

Take note of Greg :)

I'm going to see Seth in a few weeks

The beauty is in its primacy.  It’s like Native Americans playing the drums.  It’s primal, it’s repetitive, but it’s so good. It’s what we humans can do. I dig it.

I’m a patient guy but I will stop talking to you if you act like Will Due.  Eeeerrrrp.  Wha wha.

You complain about me believing things?  You believe things to Joc.  You believe every morning you wake up the sun will be shining just as it always does.  You don’t know that to be true, but you believe it to be true just as you believe that light will come on every time you flip the switch.

I'll just let you rant on.  But I will comment to this: I don't complain about anything.  I have no beliefs. My entire philosophy of life is based on the fact that we are all born today, and we all die today.  And we are all one breath away from death always.  Carry on...or not.

I’m not sure where the confusion is. The sun’s existence isn’t a belief, it’s a fact.

You know what? It’s not worth it.

No confusion...just Guyver's drunk ramblings because he allowed another grown man to hurt his feelings.

Sorry, I didn’t mean you were confused. He seems to think people knowing the sun will rise every day is equal to him believing in his god.

That's what I'm talking about. "Science," the modern atheists' religion or source of spiritual beliefs. Can we verify that a person transforms into something else upon death?

Yes, we can because energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed. What, it is transformed into I am unable to say but, death is not the end or the beginning it is only stop along the way to this transformation.

Haha yes! Set a piece of paper on fire. Watch it burn and release smoke and whatever else into the atmosphere. I can assure you. It is no longer a piece of paper. 😄

Your own question proves I am right. When you burn that piece of paper it goes from one physical state to another. That transformation doesn't stop when the fire goes out. The ashes are another transformation and when those ashes are washed away, they will fertilize plants in the area where the fire occurred. So, the ashes went from a none living state to being part of plant (living state) and the process continues!!!!!!!:tu:

So, like I said energy cannot be created or destroyed, its physical state can only be changed!!!!
