It's all a joke over here man, both sides...

I feel like I'm one of the few at a boxing or even better a "pro" wrestling match that's "in on the fix".

Trump's been strutting around this past week like Ric Flair in his prime 🤣

Trying to remember Flairs old catchphrase.. @OverSword you remember the "limousine riding, jet flying" can't remember the rest, and don't feel like looking it up 😆

Mate, got get one back in on the righty tighties

It's a joke all.round. Most people I know are literally stunned that Trump is back at all. It's like national flagellation.

He has until April 4th to pay this new bond. On April 15 jury selection begins for the Stormy Daniels payoff trial.

The amount of the fine hasn't been lessened. He has to pay up in full if he loses the appeal.

Which is why he'll get it overturned on appeal.  The freak in robes - God is he creepy or what? - pulled that sum out of the air.  No damages could be tallied because NO ONE WAS DAMAGED.  The final disposition of this should be that he and the AG should be disbarred.

Good deal.  Its all going according to plan.  New York wants to maintain its image as business friendly.  Wall Streeters and others expressed no displeasure that Trump was being sued and levied.  But they did begin to object to the size of the judgement and want to see the appeal. New York has shown they do not want to get Trump, just enforce their laws.  Engeron will be fine.  The DA will be fine. Her original request was for $370 million because she knew she would only get about half of that during expected negotiation phase.  Bingo., close enough.

Everybody is happy now.  Well except for Walt Nauta who is on nappy duty.  But fans still need to help Trump   Go out and buy as much of that Truth Social stock as you can to make Trump another 3 billion.  Cash in your retirement if you have to, this is serious stuff. :D:D

I again state this is why the US needs a Monarch.

A corrupt leader can always employ a team of solicitors to find a way of targeting a rival by exploiting weaknesses in the legal and electoral systems. That`s when you need a Monarch to step in and tell them where to go.

The UK political system is more stable that the US one, and if its not careful it may come to regret rebelling to get rid of the crown.

Right?  He's the picture you'd see in a reference to a flasher.  "Hey little girl, want some candy?"  Sheesh...

75 million.  Are you sure that brush of yours is big enough to spread that amount of insane claims?  Just curious, what will be your plans if he wins in November?  More specifically, will you be on here helping to spread the doomsday messaging that will fuel the chaos in the blue cesspools?  Down here in the backwards part of the world we'll be just fine ;) , but watching DC and NYC, Chicago, and LA burn will be sad but predictable.

So with no irony, she's aiming high hoping to land a deal in the middle? With a great interest rate I might add. Sounds oddly familiar.

Yep, 248 years later we're going to have an ephinay. Gasping at the sudden realization, asking ourselves what have we done?

The Limousine riding, Lear jet flying, wheeling dealing, kiss stealing, son of a gun...

That was one version in a quick search,I was little in the 80's 😆

Plans?  Can more food, make some hard cider, and carry on.  On one level or another, everybody is a prepper.  Your second part there, exactly like you I look at the world and try to understand it. I have to know what I really believe,  bottom line.   So like you, I will use my 1st A right to say what I believe.  I am not going to convince you of anything, but all of us have to speak our truths.  That is the gift of free will.

Well good.  I hope you will be just fine.  I hope all of us will be just fine.  That is a lot to wish for.  I am a lot more interested in local community action.  When communities build a robust system of self reliance; disaster relief, survival, and reconstruction, they become more able to resist disaster.

So, if you cannot tolerate disagreement, then you could ignore me.  You could get me thrown off the site if you wanted.  Does it continue to bother you even when I am invisible?

That's all-true my friend, Trump is just another American who broke the law and now he is facing music!

Your also right on target here Tate, but I hope that people are able to avoid the disaster associated with Truth Social Stock. If they buy his stock, they will get screwed, Trump is notorious for taking advantage of investors who are inexperienced. He has done it in the past and he will do again sadly!

Well that could be the start of an interesting argument, considering the restitution amounts of many convicted criminals exceeds their net worth by many times.

restitution. / (ˌrɛstɪˈtjuːʃən) / noun. the act of giving back something that has been lost or stolen. law the act of compensating for loss or injury by reverting as far as possible to the position before such injury occurred.

So again, where is the victim that lost $500 million in this case?  Who is being compensated for loss or injury?

I'm aware.  My point is the amount of the fine clearly violates the 8th amendment.

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

Please show another case where an individual has been assessed a $500 million judgment in a case where there are no victims and no one has (outside of the AG) has alleged fraud.

Trump has been a fixture in NYC for 50 years and up until now, no NY AG has thought to use this law against Trump while he was supposedly committing all this fraud?  You guys cannot be this daft.  Not only that the bank that was supposedly defrauded testified on behalf of Trump and no money was lost?
