Serious?

Serious!

You're joking me. I have never in my life called any presidential candidate Jesus.

Neither have I.

Nor did the person at the centre of the OP, for that matter. The letter that Trump shared was comparing the unfair things that Trump was dealing with to the unfair things that Jesus had to deal with, that's not exactly the same as calling him Jesus, even if the OP chose to partner it with an "expert" who was willing to testify that this was essentially the next step in deifying Trump (or at least "an attempt by Trump to justify his violent promises with biblical references" as the article alleges), and no one believes that who hasn't already been misled by the mainstream media. It's a fear tactic of the most blatant kind. If it wasn't eaten up so readily I'd laugh at it, but sadly it's the kind of thing that gains traction.

I've never had one cry so much for money and how he needs all this help because, poor me. I've never seen a president brag about how great he is and how everyone is beneath him. I've never seen a president or a party go through personnel at anywhere near the rate he does. I've never seen more lawyers or business CEO serve prison terms that are all associated with one man. I've never heard any candidate of any office cry more about immunity.  Not Reagan. Not the Bushes. Not the Clintons. Not Kennedy who was a lot better looking and just as wealthy. Not Eisenhower. Not even Nixon. I never saw so many people worship a man more than they actually go to church and worship Jesus himself and stay clueless to what they look like and how they sound. And I'm older than you and American. You can suck up all you want PA but don't look at me. You can crawl all you want. Desperation has nothing to do with it. What I feel is more like pity and that's just how it is.

None of that is relevant to the OP! These may be your personal bugbears with why you aren't going to vote for him, but I don't see what it has to do with Trump's alleged Jesus complex, which is what the article was trying to highlight and scare people about.

I recall détente with Russia, shaking hands with Kim Jong Un, Ukraine not being invaded, people not falling off of C-130s in Afghanistan, a southern U.S. border, and the feathers of exploiter allies being ruffled.  The guy is a 90s Democrat; where is the 50s theme park coming from, exactly?

I also recall the first time I smoked weed

Weird, I remember shelves empty of toilet paper, refrigeration cars with corpses, a border with children being taken from families and lost to this day, riots with our cities burning, dead soldiers and allies in Afghanistan and Syria, and a family exploiting the government for millions at their golf clubs.

Yes!  Let's talk about what the federal government did in response to COVID, finally!  It started with bureaucrat lifer named Anthony Fauci who said years ago you could transmit HIV through shaking hands...something about gain-of-function research being outsourced to China...if anybody asks, you've never heard of VAERS...6ft, sure ok...etc.  You are right, though, Trump should have thrown him and Brix into the Potomac much sooner.

Donald J. Trump delivered the pallets of bricks and black streetwear to the mostly-peaceful burning CVS riots?  How exactly did the Trumps exploit "the government for millions at their golf clubs", and is such exploitation now a concern, or just a concern for him?  Because I thought we don't really care about old guys peddling influence through their addict shthead children.  At least Jared and Ivanka clean up well.

As fun as it would be to discuss history, I'd rather just take action to ensure that it doesn't repeat.  Ideally, I'd like to see someone who doesn't have a history of self serving and botched responses- but alas we have to choose out of what we have available.

Thanks, @Hawken.  That's a brilliant summary which I hope (but doubt) UM's Trots and Commies will watch and learn from.  Sadly, what I see in other threads is puerile reposts akin to "so you need an Internet personality to do your thinking for you?", utterly ignoring and deflecting from any facts or messages contained therein.

The lack of responses so far, positive or negative, makes me suspect few people have watched it.  (Is 13 minutes too long for our esteemed, busy colleagues?)  I hope that changes; and I hope the Socialists here post links to equally impressive vids arguing the opposite point of view.  Not just Trump Orange Bad as appears to be the superlative logic of many on the left of the political spectrum.

Hypocrisy is something that's always puzzled me.  What makes someone condemn and shout down behaviour/actions that they themselves are guilty of?  e.g. here's a 'comedian' slagging off Trump for misrepresenting the value of assets... caught out misrepresenting the value of assets:

https://twitchy.com/samj/2024/03/28/jon-stewart-like-trump-n2394477

But apparently that's okay because... Trump?

As has been pointed out repeatedly - it's nothing new to question or challenge the outcomes of elections.  Dems have been doing that for decades.  Why is it only unacceptable now, when certain types of people do it?  Why do so many observers and commentators scream hysterically about the sins of one side yet ignore identical failings on the other?
