Lots of tapes and witnesses. Chased by an F-106, but to no avail, it just went far higher.

Air Force (of course) won't comment.

Ok, where are those tapes? Let's see them. Where are the sworn statements by the witnesses? I don't want some clips from a 1990's show that was focused on furthering the ETH fantasy (Sightings).

What is the statement from the pilot of the F-106 that allegedly chased said object?

The Department of the Air Force normally doesn't comment on many non-stories and events. This is likely one of them.

Funny how these UFO stories gain more details as the decades pass.

Indeed... Its like doing remake of an old movie from the 40s (any movie) but this time they choose to make it a science fiction.

Then, every ten years they do another remake of it, adding more and more new special effects, more aliens, military involvement and space ships for every time...

If the first director from the 40s would be able to see the 2024 version of his original... there is a zero chance he would even recognize it.

It is a demonstrated phenomenon that often when a memory is unpacked, new details are incorporated that may not have actually been experienced.

more evidence...

"There is 40 hours of tape from the radar control of which 6 hours was declassified." <----- 1965

Once again, the congress, 3 years ago, ordered all INTEL orgs to declassify all UFO incidents and forward them to a central bureau. All reports were after to 2003, SO THEY SAID.

What I'd love to see are eyewitness statements from that time, 1965.

Especially when these "new details" make the memory more salable. Many of the classic UFO stories like the Hopkinsville "alien attack" sound so goofy when I read them in my old UFO books from the 70s but the new retellings on the Internet have been cleaned up with new drawings, new details and the clues that they were mundane encounters have been removed.
