FBI Agent Says He Hassles People 'Every Day, All Day Long' Over Facebook Posts

The FBI spends "every day, all day long" interrogating people over their Facebook posts. At least, that's what agents told Stillwater, Oklahoma, resident Rolla Abdeljawad when they showed up at her house to ask her about her social media activity.

Three FBI agents came to Abdeljawad's house and said that they had been given "screenshots" of her posts by Facebook. Her lawyer Hassan Shibly posted a video of the incident online on Wednesday.

Nice of him to be so forthcoming into what he does all day.  I wouldn't speak to them, let them in, or come out of the house unless they said they were arresting me.  In that case I'd go right along but still not say a thing.  If the FBI can destroy a 30-yr, 3 Star officer, I'd hate to think what they could do to me.

A few things about this article:

1) I know people who post "Free Palestine" type posts on their Facebook.  It's pretty common right now.  For this person to get a visit from the FBI, they had to be a bit more of the "Support Hamas/Kill Israelis and or American Citizens" type posts and I encourage the FBI to visit people like that.

2) At this point in time you have to be naive to think that what you post isn't monitored- from Facebook to Twitter to even forums.  It is illegal for the US government to spy on it citizens.  So some of these entities self-report.  Others use other 5 eyes countries to spy on each other's citzens to circumvent these laws How the Five Eyes alliance fuels global surveillance | NordVPN

In addition, there are private corporations that monitor every post that people make and then turns around and sells that information to our government. Take Twitter for instance, it is being monitored by Dataminr via an AI Twitter Caught Selling Data to Government Spies While Complaining About Surveillance (futurism.com)

This also circumvents the laws because the government isn't spying.  It is merely buying information from a private organization.

Yeah, I was wondering if some detail was left out.  When I saw the story a few days ago, they never actually said what was posted.  I was suspecting something that came off like a terrorist threat.
