At least 7 shot, all under the age of 17, in mass shooting near Indianapolis mall

Seven children were injured in a shooting outside a mall in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday night, police said. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers were on patrol when they heard gunshots just after 11:30 p.m. and arrived on a block outside the Circle Centre Mall. According to police, officers saw six people injured with gunshot wound.All of the victims were between the ages of 12 and 17, police said.

Emergency medical services arrived to transport the children to hospitals, and a seventh person, also under the age of 18, arrived at a hospital on their own. One victim is in critical condition and the other six are stable.

Makes one ask...what the hell is going on.

Anyone else remember ever being in a schoolyard fight?...

We'd throw a few punches, someone might have gotten a bloody nose,busted lip,ect. and it was over with...now days they go insane.

The stores closed at 7PM. The movie theatre and some of the restaurants are open until midnight.

As I added to my previous post,we'd fight,we didn't try to take each other's lives...

Hell even teachers are getting regularly beaten down now days...never saw a single teacher get beat up badly by a student in all my school years.

The biff gets worse these days because of various factors that cause them to escalate rather than just blow off quickly.

The only direction America is heading for is DOWN.  Our system has always been dependent on adults reaching compromise.  That's gone now and the edifice we built cannot survive it.

I recently saw a school believe it was in Massachusetts,the teachers begging for the National Guard to come police the school...

I hear ya Crimson but these kids weren't fine. Everyday kids are on the news that weren't fine. Back when my kids were young, they knew to use that phone to call me to pick them up when the matinee was over. They weren't going to any late, late shows.
