This is a great small town that has a history going back more than a 1000 years. If you have time to watch it let me know what you think, thanks in advance for your consideration!:tu:

This tour was brought to my attention by @Hammerclaw I thought I would also include it. It is a driving tour of the city of Seosan-si Korea.

Yea, it does look like anywhere America downtown, most people who have never been here would not expect that. Thanks for watching the videos, I appreciate very mcuh that you took the time to do it.:tu: Note the second video, the driving tour is approximately 13 years old. While it looks like a leisurely drive through town it very deceiving and I have no idea what time of day it was taken due to the lack of cars. Normally the area is very busy, and the drivers are crazy, to them stop means go faster!!!!!:D

Comfortable and folksy is my impression. No hectic Gangnam rush, here.

That is for certain, I hate Seoul and I would rather ride a bus than drive through it anytime!

Thanks for your comments!:tu:

I really enjoyed seeing the food and sites. The Dragon Dance looks fun, and im a person who enjoys little market places. There is a fellow Youtuber I subscribed to that does videos like this not sure if he has been there though his name is Mike Chen, he does travel and food reviews have you heard of him?

A good friend of mine was stationed in SK after Iraq...

He liked the country, but hated Seoul as well...

His biggest complaint about Korea overall was,he said even when they were on the ship, you could smell kimchi for 50 miles offshore 😆

ETA

My dad was also stationed in SK,but as he says,a lot has changed since the 80's.

I have been here so long that I am use to the smell of Kimichi, but I can understand how bad that can be to the uninitiated! My first tour in to Korea was in 1987, then I was came back in 1998. I met and married my wife in 1986 so when I came here the first time she came with me. I also hate Seoul, it is just too dam crowded so I never drive there if I must travel there, I always take a bus and then use the subway.

Seosan, is a very small country town we don’t even have a Subway system here. There is a train station but there are no Bullet Trains that stop here.
