Do you realize that was ten years ago and he has not had so much as a nosebleed before or after?

He's handling his own medical BUT ANYWAY  that is not what the OP is interested in talking about in this POST!! He can get all the medical tests known to man and I'm not going to discourage anything but that is not the topic=Extraterrestrial Experience.

No, the topic is the experience the OP had and what each of us members think about it not for you to be so arrogant as to try to dictate what we can or can't talk sbout

Sounds a whole lot like sleep paralysis besides the neck and nose bleed stuff. I've had it and it's a lot like that. Laying in bed, not tired, then suddenly asleep and paralysed with feelings of something in the room. Sounds from the TV being on can easily infiltrate the sleep state and set trigger all kinds of auditory hallucinations. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep on the couch with the TV on and the sounds from the TV weave right into some wacky dreams

I hear while asleep all kinds of loud sounds that only exist in my head, I'm 59 had one only one random nose bleed in my life as a child, but I have fallen asleep countless times to be wake up with a foot or arm hand dead asleep

That's terrible man, when I was kid I was out like a light. I would lay down and wake up in the morning with no memory of what I was dreaming. Today, I lay down and I have a movie camera on replay in my head and all of it is things I have seen that I want to forget, to no avail!!!!!

Hi @Golden_Skull - Welcome to the forum.

I’m not a medical person, but my first thought after reading your opening post was that your symptoms sounded a lot like the symptoms of dehydration: your disorientation and the nosebleed, followed by the discovery of the open window in the wintertime.

A few questions:

What kind of climate do you live in, and what type of heating system do you have in your home?

What type of activities were you involved in that may have resulted in excessive sweating in the days leading up to the event?

Do you drink a lot of coffee? Coffee has a mild diuretic effect. It’s unlikely to cause dehydration by itself, but combined with an excessively dry home environment and physical exertion, it may increase your chances of becoming dehydrated.

The open window may have been a symptom of disorientation that erased the memory of you opening the window to seek some relief from a dry, overheated bedroom.

Whenever I have an unexplained medical event, I first see a doctor. If the doctors’s solution for the problem doesn’t lead to relief, then I research the symptoms on reliable science-based websites (as opposed to supplement-sales-based faux medical websites). You may need a lot of patience: It took me two years to track down the cause of my chronic fatigue to an allergic reaction to a particular artificial sweetener I was using.

And if you don't like what the medical advice given to you is, seek further advice from a different doctor at a different location.

I’m not sure what the medical field is like where you live Sir, but where I live it’s really hard to get in to see one’s own doctor, let alone be welcomed by another for a second opinion.  I suppose it may be possible to approach a new doctor to get a second opinion, and he or she may accommodate….but in my experience getting a new doctor was almost impossible.  My doctor (whom I loved) retired almost 10 years ago now I think, after his son was killed while biking.  He was hit by a distracted driver who was texting on the phone.  Anyway, I tried so many doctors to get added, and they all told me they were full and were not accepting new patients.

Yeah, I can't say I like the medical treatment offerings either and avoid it unless I can't, like a bad tooth I ignored because of fear of dentists sent me to the ER not long back with a serious infection, that tooth is now in a little plastic bag on my work bench.

The hurdles of finding care isn't the point the point is while some paranormal experiences are likely not something of medical worry many could be and it's wrong as in right out evil for a true believer to denounce medical examinations especially when there are red flag syptoms and I have sadly seen that done on here.
