Trump’s bizarre, vindictive incoherence has to be heard in full to be believed

I don't think it was Obama.  Bernie Sanders is pushing Medicare-for-All, which is a single-payer system.  A lot simpler and a lot cheaper than what we have now.

Single payer was actually Ted Kennedy's main desire. And then he discovered Obama, who had been preaching about single payer and how we can get there. Ted Kennedy was instrumental in the election of Obama for that very reason. But it was the disingenuousness of members of Congress, especially the speaker Nancy Pelosi, who said things like, we have to pass the bill in order to find out what's in the bill that created such a backlash that even though the bill was passed single payer itself was doomed.

He said he was going to do certain things, like build a wall, etc. And then he went and did them.

Aside from repairing/erecting some parts of the wall/fence that were already scheduled for repair, what did Trump do to build a wall?

Mexico certainly didn't pay for it.  But maybe we could convince them by giving them Texas.
