Westall UFO witnesses are still seeking answers more than 58 years on

Maybe they don't have the technology to travel over vast distances in space.

We have the technology to send probes out of our Solar system Voyage 1 & 2. Those probes took off in the 1970s and we are still communicating with them today. I don't know if our probes will ever reach a distant world with life, I kind of doubt it. But as our technology improves, we are going to send more advanced probes and it's very possible a more advanced species is doing the same thing.

Like I said, I am on the fence and only time will prove me right or wrong!

Idk my take on it is if aliens were out there and could say hye they would and we wouldn't be having this discussion

Speed and ETE is always the problem.

The pioneer probes will take 2 and 4 million years (!!) to get anywhere near something of interest.

But sure, in the distant future some space jockey might find them and bring them home.

If I can sign up to get paid for what I babble on here please show me where.

I can fully understand why die had true believers might grasp that some bored nobody on a forum is a paid disinformation agent but it doesn't wash because of the zillion stories not once has any case been proven alien they have been proven explanations of balloons, swamp gas, mass hysteria, clouds, Jupiter etc,

The fact is you true believes jump to believe it's your strength no paychecks needed

Whilst you jump to 'can never be any conclusion that doesn't fit my model' without evidence AND comes onto an unexplained Mysteries website to argue that point. Unexplained, the clue is right there. Lol.

No, you certainly can't jump to any conclusion. What you can do is eliminate the least likely or logical. Therefore we can eliminate extraterrestrial craft.😎

Please quote me not your typing of what you made up what I think or said.

Yep, genius the this site is about unexplained and your jumping to the most unlikely never once proven paranormal explanation will not make it so,

I'm not arguing at all if you present evidence I will be delighted to take a look at it but you never present any, your fail not mine.

That is what I think, nothing is going to happen soon.

St Kilda FC was based at Moorabbin for decades and lasr won a Premiership in 1966.

If ever there was a cohort of true believers, it's the folks from that district.

I was at the 1966 premiership with my Dad, to watch them beat the Magpies by that single point.  The scoreboard is etched into my brain - it was a wonderful and gripping game.  Still devotedly support them - up the mighty Saints!

Job done??... We have just started with this one!

And just because I dont jump on the AliEnZ bandwagon at first chance (like some people) doesnt make me a bad "investigator".

If you (and @Trelane) were a good investigator, you would catch the numerous, odious government lies about this incident. and you would at least try to reconcile
the differences in students' claims and the government's claims.

I will eventually get around to asking you if you think that a fallen HIBAL balloon can get back up after hours on the ground, and fly away.

Why not?

They didn't actually exist. So if we are talking imaginary depressions let's chuck Paul Bunyan and babe in as well as options huh?

This is like many old moldy mundane cases suffered from decades of embellishment and made-up bs.

Let's go back to original report , the alleged depressed grass NE student who was there said looked like wind blew grass over not like a craft landed. UFO investigation found zip.

Tales of cover up like school officials telling students teachers not to talk about it was because the local paper and looky lous were disrupting learning.

In fact the original report sure fits a two part event first was a documented weather balloon then an Air Force training session towing a target,

Of course true believes would rather say it could only be aliens and I don't care if they like to avoid evidence to look silly. More power to them.

Once again you cherry pick some unsupported aspect and carry on as if it's a verified component regardless of other evidence.

You start with a conclusion and then seek evidence to support it. And you have done it again here.

Nobody saw anything on the ground. Post incident investigation allegedly found a flattened patch of grass away from the school and assumed it was connected. Upon return it wasn't there and some claimed the grass was destroyed by fire.

If it was actually intriguing and actually did exist there would be a photograph. That's what you do with evidence tight? Where is it?

Read the descriptions again. Show me which one saw a grounded craft.

I don't have to be there if I rely on witnesses and other evidence.

But your not. You're jumping to conclusions.

Like I say. It was allegedly there for two days. If it existed, the importance would be high and pictures would exist

Post one to settle the debate.

Why. There was two incidents. I've already pointed that out to you but you've ignored it. They aren't both considered to be hibal balloons. If you were as across the incident as you pretend you are you would know this.

Are you suggesting both incidents were balloons and is so who put that hypothesis forward other than you?

Why don't you show us all 200 of the witness statements you claim to on?

I know why you won't produce a brass razoo.

Here is what children sawThe Mystery of the Westall UFO - YouTube

Here's what big gov says:   A match made on a high-altitude balloon

The prosecution rests, with the government alibi debunked and destroyed.

No.

The object was in view for up to 20 minutes, and many saw it descend. Most agree it landed behind pine trees at the Grange Reserve. Dozens of students ran across what was then an open paddock to the reserve to investigate, but the object had lifted off and vanished.

Go and find two hundred accounts that refute the claims.

There are no accounts that describe the illustration you have posted .

Nothing is debunked. You don't even have the first part of the story right as shown above and you don't acknowledge two events.

You lose. You are making it up as you go along.
