Some of the people who rioted under the last presidency have been prosecuted and jailed under this administration. I also call that "winning". "Surrendering" to you means coming to terms that the previous guy was unable to handle the riots and only caused more "ignition points". I hate to say it, but in life, you have to know when you have a bad hand and need to fold. So the far left got their candidate in that they wanted, maybe not first choice but a person they found acceptable, and the riots stopped, that isn't exactly a shock or unexpected. Still your argument is if you give the violent left what they want they stop rioting and don't do anything to antagonize them, that is appeasement and surrendering no matter how you try to spin it.

Actually, I think you are the one surrendering. The problem is riots. One person stops it the other didn't. You want to select the one that didn't because you believe he is better in other matters- so you are surrendering the riot issue as a sacrifice towards those other issues.

Now trying to spin it around like that. Now you are now resorting to another logical fallacy, just cause the riots stopped under Biden does not mean Biden stopped the riots. It's rather obvious the riots stopped caused the violent left got what they wanted and not cause Biden stopped them himself. I'm just not a fan of giving into the demands of the most violent group out of fear they will use violence again, historically appeasement doesn't work or end well.

They are past tense and have already won. They beat Trump and his administration. What you are wanting is a double or nothing rematch with the future rioters he will make if he wins the next time around. But you want to use the same losing tactics. My idea is to not create those future rioters. Creating an enemy just so you can try to win using the same tactics that made you lose before is just plain silly. Isn't that like saying that racism doesn't exist because black people have staged hate crime hoaxes against themselves (see Jussie Smollett for Exhibit A)? In total the Floyd riots caused approximately $2 billion in damages with thousands of people injured and I'm not sure how many killed. You are very clearly trying to downplay antifa and outright ignoring history and facts. Minneappolis riots Yeah, 2 dead ( 1 killed by police, another turned up in a burned building), 604 arrests, 500 million damages. Nowhere near your claim of 2 Billion. Who caused the violence at riots? It wasn't Antifa I don't see many black guys joining Antifa Wiki Antifa entry Edited April 9 by Alchopwn

Which one was the second most destructive riot in American history. Chicago riot was about $4 million dollars in damage, adjusted for inflation is approximately $40 million today. St Louis massacre adjusted for today caused about $9.5 million. The New York draft riots caused between $25 million to $125 million after adjusted for inflation. All of those are far less then $500 million. Once again what was the second most destructive riot in America

MAGATs are fascists who fear Antifa for reasons quite beyond me. Their role in these riots and demonstrations is minimal to non-existent. They are just frat bros who lift some weights and think they are hella tougher than they actually are. The real cause of the problems during riots are the actual armed criminal gangs in the black communities, as if that wasn't PATENTLY F-ING OBVIOUS ! 3
