Students at NJ school reportedly used AI to make pornographic images of classmates

AI technology made it appear that the Westfield teens digitally altered pornographic images they found online to make it appear that the person in the nude photo was one of their underage classmates

A stunning investigation is underway at a New Jersey high school after reports surfaced of students using artificial intelligence to manipulate real photos to create pornographic images of classmates.

Using photo editing applications powered by AI, students at Westfield High School created fake nude photos of their classmates, according to a letter emailed to parents in October. The photos were apparently sent around in group texts over the summer.

"I always worry about this. I have a daughter, she’s beautiful, she’s my baby girl — I don’t want something like that to happen to her," said parent Rahat Hossain.

I don't know. I avoid most information or gossip about celebrities.

I think they did. Yes. This is terrible. I really feel sorry for their victims. I'd like to know what kind of disciplinary action will be taken on the students who did it.

This is going to ramp up bullying on a greater scale. Not to mention it can be used to accuse people of criminal activities much easier.

It's the modern twist on pushing a pencil around on paper, glad I don't have to sort it all out.

The only positive is that it will put real porn actresses and actors out of work.  All the actors will be AI generated.

The problem with bullying these days is social media and internet.  Kids aren't just embarrassed in the lunchroom, but the world....

Yes it will.  Why would a studio pay for an actress to get skeeted on when they can just use AI?  Secondly, the AI won't be damaged from the mental trauma of being a porn star.  Sure, there will be some people who get off making dirty movies, but I predict most in the future will be AI based. In fact, it is already happening.

I have no idea where you get I opposed policing laws.

Hum, interesting while AI will replace some things and likely will be big in the sex trade industry porn star stormy Daniels not only doesn't seem to be having any mental trauma from her profession in fact it gained her the opportunity to have an affair with a fellow who became POTUS and she even got extra $$$ called hush money or something like that.

Because ai still doesn't look real and people often prefer real people. It's why mums are getting into OF. And have been for some time.

And because the no fakes act would make it illegal.

There was a thread on it here. I remember commenting on a black mirror episode that is based in that exact scenario. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_Is_Awful

And people with mental issues often don't actually know they have mental issues.

You're prediction is wrong.

Where it's happening is with actual actors from the industry using their own images to create any situation. It's actually a huge business based on real people. The recent strikes from the actors guild protect the adult industry as well..

Opposing internet laws and bans. Social media and the like. It's called freedoms when you oppose it.

I just confirmed.  If, on Google, you put in any celebrities name, followed by "naked", there will be many altered naked porn photos of that person.

I think the punishments for this type of stuff needs to be severe.

I don't view that as a positive.  People losing their jobs is not good.  I don't care if they are porn people.

A naked picture of you would be considered as dangerous as my hot sauce in the UK. 😬

And even earlier.  I remember a mag innthe shops with Diana Spencer's head over a body of a model.

I'm not sure why people did the same with Hilary Clinton back in the Usenet days.

I think the real issue is that the technology is now available to children and they can create their own pornography with it using other children as models.
