US media organisations push Biden and Trump for TV debate pledge

A dozen US news outlets have called on the presumptive US presidential nominees to commit to taking part in TV debates ahead of November's election.

The statement did not name Joe Biden or Donald Trump, but said it was never too early for candidates to publicly declare they will take part.

The letter warned the stakes of this year's poll were "exceptionally high."

Mr Trump, who skipped all four Republican primary debates, has said he is keen to debate President Biden.

I probably wouldnt watch it live. But would watch the youtube videos from the cherry pickers later...

I think like Hulk Hogan going against Andre the Giant, this will be too close to call.

Trump will refuse to shut up, and say a bunch of utter stupid. And Biden will seem bewildered, and than angry, which is classic senility. Maybe falling back on stories that are already debunked.

Can we get some good debate moderators for change?  You know, the ones that aren't lefty journalist?  Maybe get someone like Mark Levin and the left can pick who they want to moderate.

Focus the debate on just one or two topics at most.  Give each candidate 10 mins to present their view with any charts.  Let other candidate present.  Then allow moderators to ask questions.
