Good interview with George Washington University Law Professor Melinda Roth who comments on the hypocrisy of the student protesters and of how many have been indoctrinated by professors. She also discusses the open letter she wrote to these students:

Police dismantle anti-Israel encampment at MIT, move to clear Philadelphia and Arizona protests

Police have dismantled an anti-Israel tent encampment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and moved to clear protesters from the University of Pennsylvania’s campus in Philadelphia, just hours after police tear-gassed protesters and took down an encampment at the University of Arizona.

In Cambridge, Massachusetts, video shows police roaming through the MIT encampment. Protest organizers say about 10 students have been detained after police in riot gear arrived around 4 a.m., encircled the camp and gave protesters about 15 minutes to leave.

That became obvious when protests against Israel erupted immediately after October 7 — long before Israel's incursion into Gaza.

I hope they make an example out of this putz.

A teenage anti-Israel agitator who police say defaced a World War I memorial in New York City earlier this week has been arrested and charged, the NYPD says.

The 16-year-old boy is accused of defacing the 107th United States Infantry monument, located along Central Park on the Upper East Side, by spray-painting "Gaza" in red across the base of the structure.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry, last night posted an image on X, formerly Twitter, of the young vandal in handcuffs sitting on a bench inside a police station. His face is blurred out.

Daughtry also posted an image of the teen caught in the act on Monday vandalizing the monument, which depicts seven U.S. Army soldiers in the throes of battle in September 1918, as they burst through the Hindenburg Line — the last and strongest of the German army's defense.

"The despicable vandalism we saw earlier this week on the WWI Memorial will not be ignored, and will not go unpunished," Daughtry wrote, blasting the hateful act.

"One of the culprits was placed in handcuffs today thanks to the World’s Greatest Detectives. This isn’t simply juvenile hijinks -- it’s an act of desecration that undermines the freedoms our heroes fought and died for. If you have any information regarding this incident, call 800-577-TIPS or DM @NYPDTIPS."

The teen has been charged with two counts of criminal mischief in the third degree, which are felonies, and two counts of making graffiti, a class A misdemeanor, police say

The suspect is a regular face at rallies organized by the anti-Israel group Within Our Lifetime and attends Tottenville High School, the New York Post reports, citing police sources.https://www.foxnews.com/us/anti-israel-teen-16-arrested-defacing-wwi-memorial-nypd

And of those who defaced the George Washington statue, although I don't believe any arrests have been made.

The statue was covered in Palestinian iconography, including multiple flags, a keffiyeh and stickers that read: "Free Palestine" and "Free Gaza." The words "Genocidal Warmonger University" were spray-painted at the base. It remained that way for two weeks before being covered up.

NYC public schools chancellor to convene school leaders to address antisemitism

New York City Chancellor of Public Schools David Banks, who oversees the largest school system in the United States, grew visibly agitated by the end of his hearing about antisemitism in schools on Wednesday in front of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.

Schools in New York City have not been immune to the national uptick in antisemitism with documented incidents of Jewish students and staff being targeted with swastikas and other antisemitic slogans and images.

Absolutely. And the professors who've been radicalizing students need to be fired.

U Penn encampment is finally gone. 33 arrested. Only 7 were students. Very tight security will be in place for May 20 commencement.

Penn protest: Dozens of protesters arrested as police clear encampment at the University of Pennsylvania - 6abc Philadelphia

Because this was an operation led by Penn police, the Philadelphia D.A.'s Office has no plans to file charges against any of the protesters.

Billionaire investor Ken Griffin calls on Harvard to embrace ‘Western values’

Billionaire investor Kenneth Griffin called on his alma mater, Harvard University, on Saturday to embrace "Western values," saying that the turmoil across college campuses was the product of a "cultural revolution" in US education.

Griffin, who has donated more than half a billion dollars to Harvard University, said in January that he has halted donations to the school over how it handled antisemitism on campus.

Pro-Israel website names and shames pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel student protesters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) — Weeks after attending a pro-Palestinian demonstration, Egyptian-American student Layla Sayed received a text message from a friend drawing her attention to a website dedicated to exposing people it says promote hatred of Jews and Israel.

“I think they found you from the protest,” the friend wrote.

When Sayed visited the site, called Canary Mission, she found a photo from the October 16 anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian rally at the University of Pennsylvania with red arrows pointing to her among the demonstrators. The post included her name, the two cities she lives in, details about her studies and links to her social media accounts.

Ivy League universities have been losing the support of Jewish donors for months now, and have been looking for alternative sources of funding instead. It would be interesting to see exactly who some of their other mega donors are.

Ivy League schools recruit smaller donors as Jewish mega-donors withdraw

Ivy League colleges that have lost the support of Jewish donors have lowered their donor standards – offering dedication donations for up to 90% less than usual, according to a new report.

I have to admit I am surprised at the level of anti-Semitism going on.

Its never gone following WW2, its bubbling below the surface.

It's the most ancient hatred.  It always reappears during times of strife and chaos.  People need someone to blame for the problems in the world and the tiny minority of Jews is an easy target, except that THIS TIME, they can - and will - fight back.  The hate-filled children on these US campuses are easy enough to foment to action but someone IS organizing it and it is they who should be identified and who should pay the costs of these disruptions.  Lawful protests are part of being American, but most of these efforts are breaking laws and causing disruptions that harm the communities.

Really good interview with an Arab peace activist from Abu Dhabi discussing, among other issues, how American students do not understand the Middle East, its culture and the real history behind this conflict, and that they are being manipulated. He also states the students are placing pressure on the 'wrong side' — pressure that should instead be placed on Hamas to lay down their weapons and release the remaining hostages. The peace activist also comments on the Houthi rebels invitation to students to study in Yemin, saying students who accept the offer would not survive more than a day. His final message is that  students (and other Americans) supporting the elimination of Jews from Israel, should know that they are next — that they too are on Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the radical extremists' hit list.

Students stage walkout at Duke commencement over Seinfeld speech

Dozens of students walked out of Duke University’s commencement ceremony on Sunday while some chanted “Free Palestine” to protest its guest speaker, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, for supporting Israel throughout the war in Gaza, according to videos of the event posted on social media.

Other graduates shouted “Jerry! Jerry!” as the Jewish actor received an honorary degree, and Seinfeld delivered his speech without major interruptions.
