So are these protestors supposed to be the so called , " left wing" , or something? I mean , one of the first things i see on the news , is Fox news saying police at UCLA face off against a left wing mob. Like this article.

Young people tend to be more liberal/left leaning than older people. Young people tend to be more emotional and more likely to to act out than older more conservative folks.

I guess they did manage to remove the barricades at UCLA. Before I went to sleep the live links I posted showed hundreds and hundreds of police vehicles, including armored trucks, staging in areas in Los Angeles. The protesters were barricaded in the encampment. Hundreds were arrested. 

They cleared the library at Portland State. Rutgers has postponed it's exams. 

Biden is expected to speak soon.

Biden didn't say much. He only talked for about 2-3 minutes. He said violent protest isn't protected by the first amendment but nothing more about what's happening.

One way to look at it.  The other might be that we don't need the the federal government to control every aspect of our daily lives.  First, universities had better handle their students and call on local authorities if they need help.  State and local authorities are not powerless, so first choice would be for local authorities to handle issues within their jurisdiction.

I agree. This should have been addressed long before now. This has affected graduation for all the students. Not just the protesters. We already know violent protest is not protected by the first amendment. Genocide, or the call for it, of any kind is unacceptable.

I didn't expect him to do anything but make a speech, condemn the actions of these people and demand it's put a stop to. Isn't that what everyone expected Trump to do to stop J6? These are Biden's people.

The grip of militarism is not broken by peace, but war. Neville Chamberlain proved that.

So here we are, in a war of words, for now, but the sword which cuts U.S., is so enormous, it speaks louder than words.

The military industrial complex will never be defeated at the ballot box, and that’s a problem.

One possible solution is a new kind of representation, where we choose our representatives a completely different way. We need something like the jury system, at the legislative level, where common sense is stronger than the sword at the executive level.

Plus listening to them speak,they don't sound like Trump fans either,no matter how stupid both sides can sound at times (MTG)...they are distinguishable most of the time.
