Two teenage boys expelled from school after being accused of an alleged blackface photo have been awarded $1million each after proving it was green acne medication.

The ex-students and their parents sued Saint Francis High School, an elite Catholic institution in Mountain View, California, after a photo emerged of the two boys and a friend wearing what they claimed were acne treatment masks.

A boy identified as A.H. in August 2017 wore a green mask his mother bought for severe acne and took a bathroom selfie with another boy who donned a white acne mask, states the lawsuit.

You don't remember being a kid do you? What is the excuse for the white face mask picture? He said his mom was buying different ones to see which one of them worked best. They had been expelled for racism for God's sake. I'd fight it too.

The hot coffee lady got third degree burns from a McDonald's coffee from a McDonald's who had been warned an insane amount of times in the past that their coffee was too hot for consumption.  It was way above what the McDonald's even said to sell coffee at.  McDonald's knowing they wouldn't win the lawsuit in court decided to run a smear campaign on the lady in the hopes the public pressure and embarrassment would get her to settle out of court which it didn't.  She didn't even want millions of dollars, she just wanted McDonald's to cover her hospital bills, it was the judge who awarded her millions of dollars since that McDonald's was warned so many times previously about the temperature of their coffee.

I might just agree with you, I see a green hue to the alleged "blackface" and traditional blackface makeup should have the eyes and mouth highlighted,  what I do not know was there any wordage from the guys suggesting this was a racist poke?

These guys seems pretty open about being in the bathroom together partly clothed, are they like you know "out" and trying to treat pizza face I would assume if a racial poke there would be a mention.

The cash is way too much

I don't know how the schools pay this type of money.  Does insurance pay it?  Schools are already on tight budgets.  I'd rather see all school employees involved in this fired.

I have zero doubts the parents would have said a mass firing wasn't good enough, write those checks,

It's not a public school but an elite private school.  Tuition is approximately $27,000 per academic year and they got approximately 1,760 students so in tuition alone they can be bringing in approximately $47 million a year in tuition alone.  They do have grants and scholarships so not every student is paying the full tuition but the school is bringing in over $40 million a year easily on tuition alone easily.  Then there is the money they are bringing in from donations, which will be significant, and probably some degree of money from the state as even private schools will get some amount of money from the state.  

Realistically the school is probably in total bringing in over $50 million a year.  They can easily afford the $1 million dollar penalty.  But this also shows the difference between public and private school funding.

It seems the maximum grant/scholarship covers $22,000 per year so at absolute minimum they are bringing in at least $8.8 million in tuition which is probably way more money that most public schools of the same size are bringing in.

What are you talking about?  The mask is clearly green AND kids that age post every little bit of worthless minutia that goes on in their lives.

Does it?  Being accused of racism at that age could have disastrous affects on your life.  How will that look on your college application?  "Expelled from school for racism".  Pretty bad.
